Everybody, please start thinking about possible donations for the pre-party fundraiser. Looking for posters, cd's. singles, vinyl, vintage t-shirts, bootlegs.. There is a great fundraiser in the works, but it will only be successful if we ALL help out.. Contact Lost in Ohio with your donations...

    Present! Can't wait.

    So many good bars to pre-party right around the arena. Frog Bear is adjacent to the entrance of the arena, large bar with enough space for many, but there are a ton more within very easy walking distance.

    I think it is the Wishlist Foundation....they could use volunteers...email them if you have ideas :-)

    I'm staying in a hotel outside of Dayton so I can follow you that far after the show.. My return flight from Columbus Saturday is before 9am and that is too far to drive from Indy in the morning.. And too far to drive after the show as well.. so I figured split the drive each way, stay at the same place 2 nights and earn points.. Is Dayton as rough as a buddy of mine makes it out to be?

    I'm Columbus bound (and Cleveland for that matter). I give my last final the morning of the show, the grading will have to wait 'til after the show, plus I will be in a better mood, ha.
    I've always just passed through Columbus, it will be nice to say awhile!

    Pre-party?

    I was thinking something like 2-5 at Ugly Tuna in coordination with Crime Stoppers Ohio. It's a 4 minute drive from Nationwide Arena and also an easy bus ride, so you could probably park in the arena district and ride the bus up and back.

    People who read this thread would know why Ugly Tuna would be an appropriate fit.

    If not, I might be able to plan something elsewhere. Let me know. I live within walking distance of the arena and have done some event planning in the past. I may have an "in" at one of the bars in the area, but can't guarantee anything.

    a show ain't a show w/o a pre-party! hope one of you locals can set something up. hell, we can just meet at a nearby bar, if that's what it takes. I'm coming form Las Vegas...will be on foot (after I get off the plane :mrgreen: )...so something very close to the arena would be best.

    Well true.. but the "in" could possibly get special happy hour stuff... if the proper strings were pulled.

    And I think the bartenders I have in mind at one place (second choice) are Pearl Jam fans as well.

    Let me work on something and get back to everyone.


    Once again, i'm not guaranteeing anything. I'm just surmising what COULD be done. I do promise you all that Columbus will be a fun time!
