That I've seen recently? I'll catch a lot of flack for this, but it has to be The Wrestler. Seriously, did anyone else get to the end and just think "WHAT the HELL was the point?!?" or did it just go completely over my head? Wait, you mean people age and get to a point where they physically can't do what they used to? Really? This was Oscar worthy?

Aside from just being completely lacking a viable story, how worthless is it to sit there and watch actors pretending to be wrestlers, who themselves are acting in the first place?!?

I know there's worse, but I just saw this movie and it immediately came to mind as crap...

For the last several years I said The Bad News Bears remake with Billy Bob Thorton.

But recently I watched Strange Wilderness. My god. What an awful piece of trash.

Recently saw a film on the Scifi channel called Dinoshark. It's about this dinosaur-shark hybrid species that's been frozen in a glacier for millions of years, then of course the glacier starts melting, Dinoshark gets away and somehow swims to Mexico, where it starts terrorizing tourists and pretty much eating everybody...people kayaking, surfing, it even grabs a helicopter out of the air at one point. :?

Ha ha! Believe it or not, it was my HUSBAND who subjected me to this one! He kept saying he wanted to see it because it appealed to teenagers and he wanted to understand what teenagers are into nowadays. I tried to tell him that it would be a piss poor example but he rented it anyway. At the end he said (completely serious): "Wow, kind of looks like they're setting us up for a sequel." LMAO! My husband, the expert in popular culture.

Postscript: Just learned that I'm going to have to go out of town next week for training. Last night he said "I'm gonna rent that next Twilight movie while you're out of town!" Showed me, huh!

Ill give it some thought and share a good one.

what pops into my head right away is "The Day After Tomorrow". wtf. When the cold is chasing them running down the hallways and they run into the room, close and lock the door, and the -100 degree cold cant bust in? Or how the dad snowshoes in an ice age from DC to NYC and just happens to end up right where he has to be?

The Haunting in Connecticut movie was soooooooooo bad too, and I am a fan of horror movies. Absolutely terrible.

LOL, wow! Usually it is the other way around. My wife loves that movie and the sequel and I cannot understand why. Horrible acting, a worse script, bad effects. Ugh.

I told her I am sorry, but I am not sitting through one more minute of that crap.

After the first one I said NFW am I watching another one of those movies. So he thinks he's really getting away with something to watch it while I'm gone! Other guys go to a strip club when their wife is out of town, my man rents a Twilight movie!

But I absolutely don't get it. He usually wants to watch comedies or action flicks where lots of things get "blowed up." :eh:  :wtf:

OMG that is funny! I wouldn't even subject myself to such torture. I have bagged out mnany of my friends (we;re all 30+) for watching the movies and for reading the books. There is only one guy I know who wanted to the see the twilight movies and enjoyed them and is ....... well a bit odd! Good value, but odd!

Didn't see Blair Witch 2 but I'm pretty sure that was worse than the first which I kinda liked. I remember when it first came out somehow one of my buddies got a VHS copy of it a few months before it hit the theaters and we watched it on his tv. It was better then than in the theater.

Thought Pet Detective was awesome, I should say very funny. Ya it was never going to win an Oscar, but man did I laugh at that movie. Seen it way to many times.

But just saw Twilight New Moon on the weekend (only cause my daughter had to have it, which i bought for her) thank god I fell a sleep half way through, terrible movie.
I think she has watched it 3 times since Saturday :(
