had the family over and were watching a game yesterday afternoon...my mom made us turn the channel because the sound of those stupid horns were driving her nuts.
The horns are driving everyone nuts. It wouldn't be so bad if they were used when celebrating a goal or when there's a near miss but it's just continuous.
maybe its because of the 1.6 goals per game...people are just trying to keep themselves occupied?

plus its ok to use England only in reference to cricket... 99.9% of Scotland, N.Ireland and Wales couldnt give a shit about it... and rightly so. The opening games are usually like that, and to be honest I've really enjoyed a lot of those draws. It will get more exciting now though. Teams have no choice but to go and win now.
