MLB had asked the Dodgers to have that opening day game in SF for the ring ceremony, but they declined.
I am very tempted to go to opening day in LA, but I think I would probably end up dead since Dodger fans are so welcoming. . Maybe I'll host the party this year.
I think we're going to the first Sunday game in LA and then the home opener in SF. We went to the home opener last year and they won the Series, so I think we have to stick with that tradition, right?

The Taser-Gate and Puke-a-mon incidents of recent weeks have only added to Philadelphia's national reputation as the city with the nastiest pro-sports fans.

It is actually full of cool music venues...the Echo, The Echoplex, The Silverlake Lounge.
At least it is safe to watch a game at our stadium.....enjoy a game, and only have to worry about getting attacked OUTSIDE the stadium!

There's this thing nearby Citizens called the subway. It takes you right to all the cool places in the city, with no traffic. I know this is a foreign concept to anyone from LA. :roll: Kind of like playing in the World Series in the past 20 years.

Been a long time since I have been to California, and don't get me wrong, San Francisco is an awesome city, but god damn, there are a lot of bums, and I live in Philly. Guess I am not used to the warmer weather climate.
