I'm in a total points league and my league gives a bonus seven points for a complete game.
Today I got one of the crappiest and cheapest complete games ever.
Had Alex Cobb going tonight for Tampa in Kansas City and he went 8 innings giving up 13 hits and eight earned runs. He struck out one and had no walks.
Yet I get a bonus seven since he finished the game.
    Good stuff.

Cano has finally got it going after a slow start. gonna take a boatload to get him now.

All-Star week scoring in Fantasy Baseball
    ID: SLN6804
    Refers to: Fantasy Baseball

    Description

This article will explain how Yahoo! Sports will score leagues during the MLB All-Star week.

    Resolution

Statistics earned in the All-Star Game are not counted in scoring for Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Baseball.

All-Star Game live stats will be displayed during the game itself, and points are displayed on your team page and in StatTracker, but these won't count toward your league scoring totals. The All-Star Game points will be cleared in an overnight update.

Because Major League Baseball lengthened the All-Star break to four days starting with the 2012 season, Yahoo! Sports has combined the shortened week following the All-Star Game with the ensuing week. As a result, Fantasy Week 14 will run from July 9-22, 2012.

Please consider the following with regards to the two-week Fantasy period.

There are no changes to your innings-pitched minimum during this Fantasy week. It is not necessary to accumulate double the innings. So if your league features a 10-inning minimum, you must accumulate a total of 10 innings over the course of the Fantasy week. It is not necessary to accumulate 20 innings.
If your league allows weekly roster moves and lineup changes, deadlines are not altered for this Fantasy week. Teams will be allowed to change their lineups at the midway point of the Fantasy week.
There are no changes to your weekly transaction limit during this Fantasy week. So if your league features a 3-transaction limit, managers will only be able to make 3 player adds via waivers or free agency during this Fantasy week.
Stats are cumulative for the two weeks of the matchup.
Stats and scoring are not reset after one week of the matchup has been completed.

This league sometimes has that feel that its going to be won by that person who has no idea what's going on but just happened to have that lucky square picked on Super Bowl Grid Day

He needs to start pitching again like he wants out then...unless he figures this is the best way out. :? Maybe it is...like a jedi mind trick type thing. All I know is he needs to stop throwing baseballs at the ground next to umps.

So I dropped a player to activate Sabathia and yet the site still tells me I am over the roster size. I really don't understand that site at all. :fp: :?

I would plan ahead if I understodd the rules of adding and dropping people. Dropped the pitcher around noon today. Figured that was enough time. :fp:

i was moving Votto to the DL last night and noticed that i have three best fantasy players this season (per yahoo rankings) on my team... not only are they all hitters, they're all outfielders:

    1 - mccutchen
    2 - braun
    3 - trout

i also have bourn at #18 and votto at #33.

    my pitching sucks though.

By not being able to insert Sabathia last Tuesday that single move cost me 2 in the win column. Thanks yahoo. :x :fp:
