for three years no less.

so far it looks like everyone is doing stuff....last year there were two people that signed up, and didn't sign in again all season.

I still don't understand the league. Everyone I have ever played before I guess were more roto than fantasy. I'm unsure why there's standings? :?

    roto leagues are fun too...

in our league, it is sort of like fantasy football, where your team takes on anouther team for a week...and for each stat catagory that you win, you get a win in the standings, for each stat catagory you lose for the week vs. your opponent, you get a loss in the loss standings...so at the end of each week, it's like you play 14 games in teh standings

last week you went 11-2-1 which is good. you are currently up 6-5 with 3 ties so far this week. your weekly match up runs monday thru sunday. so lets say you finish 6-5-3 this week...the standings would then be updated to 17-7-4

    you got it? pretty simple

top team in each division makes the playoffs, and then the next best two teams (regardless of division) are wild card teams. pretty simple

Oh. Got it. Very different than what I did before. I'm still trying to figure out the whole sub/bench thing. I'm not trying to be a wise ass it's just very different than the format I was used to before. Roto was a a year long race where this seems to be be based more on week to week.

still year long, but with weekly challenges.

as for the sub bench...just like roto...at least the roto leagues i was in. you can swap out your starters for bench players each day depending on matchups. or you can put a starting pitcher on the bench on his off days, and bring him back on days he is starting. to limit complete roster overhauls, you are limited to 4 add's per week. i believe the DL is 5 players deep, so if somebody gets hurt, you don't have to drop them, but you can still add a player to take his position

The roto league I was in had roster changes only on Mondays.

you can start a player off your bench anytime before a player's game starts. once it starts they lock.

if you add a free agent today, it will show on your roster for tommorrow.

only other rule that i can think of, is you must have 18 innings of pitching during the week, or you go 0-7 for pitching stats

I got 2 great SS (Starlin Castro & Asdrubal Cabreera) and 2B (Dan Uggla & Ian Kinsler). Willing to part with one of these for a top notch OF in return.

i've got a laundry list of 1st base prospects that i would trade for an OF or 3rd baseman.

made 2 roster moves today in my league

drop Furcal and picked up Josh Willingham, he's been on a tear

drop Lidge and picked up Carlos Pena, his numbers look good and Texeria is off to his normal slow start

that Martinez OF from Houston is still available and I might drop Sin Soo Choo for him if he continues to hit and Choo poo poo's
