Great, now we have a 3rd fractured "love" story with Renee and Ivan ... oof, that was a horrible hour.

The chick that works at CTU with the lugnut in her apartment ... just painfully ridiculous.
Worst single episode of 24 in 8 years. That was rediculously bad.

not sure about worst but up there. The blonde haired girl and he ex bf are getting on my nerves, i could care less about that storyline. Hopefully next weeks episode gets better.

I've been skipping Monday nights. Just watching whenever I feel up to it. I'll be honest. I've never been more frustrated with a season than I am with this one. Tired of almost every storyline, tired of the characters. The only thing that keeps me plugged in is Jack and even his storyline is growing tired. I know he's been through a lot the last year, but if you're gonna have all of this action happen around Jack and Jack not be a part of it then why bother?! I won't even go into the whole "Dana (Jenny)/Kevin" saga. I was already tired of that story back in the second hour.

I agree. The week before was terrible, but this week was pretty good IMO.

Anyone else think it was crazy how quick Jack bounced back from being STABBED with a 4 inch knife in the abdomen?!?!

I know Jack can take some shit, but c'mon!!

I stub my toe and I'm down longer than that!

Looks like he's going to be tortured and his nuts fried next week. Just like brushing sweat off the forehead...

    Hahaha!

Him being tortured and having his nuts fried just means he has the bad guys right where he wants them.

If you ever find yourself pointing a gun a Jack Bauer's head, count to 10, not 3. That way, you get to live 7 seconds longer.

HUGE improvement. I was almost ready to give up on 24 for this year, but that was a great episode. Gotta love the knife throw right to the throat!

Well, a few episodes ago the cops were beating his face up pretty good and he walked away without a scratch ... he's fuckin' Wolverine!

Pretty good episode on Monday, Glad they killed off Dana's psycho ex and his friend/buddy. Although not sure if the ex is dead or just very badly wounded. Notice how she went straight to him after he got stabbed?

Anyone know the song that was being played in the van? Kinda had a rockin' sound to it but didn't sound familiar at all.

Yeah, I've heard that. I've also heard rumors that NBC might be interested in picking it up...though unlikely due to the cost of production.

Gotta say, the two episodes prior to this week really had me "into it". This weeks episode was just dumb in my opinion.

Blondie being an insider for the terrorists? C'mon!
You'd think after it's happened 7 times over 7 season, CTU would maybe increase their screening process. Same shit, another year.

Chloe holding up the NSA guys at gunpoint, then the director being "oh well" and two minutes later everything is cool again.
That guy is the worst CTU director the show has had. He makes Freddy Prince look like an amazing actor! hahaha!

I just wonder when Tony will be back...

Ill have to disagree I thought blondie being a mole was great. They made her character to be hated and for that I never saw it coming.her character and story line before hand blew but I guess they did that to throw us all off nice job I say.I'd have to say this season has gotten better and better. Looking forward to more twists and turns.

:lol::lol: My buddy and I were wondering the same shit. I mean really, who the fuck is running the HR department over there. Jesus.

CTU is supposed to be one of the most secure places yet they get bombed or invaded every other season.:lol:

    Seriously!

Why would anyone still want to work there? hahaha

Wasn't it season 2 that the terrorists blew CTU LA up?
Then a season or two later, they unleashed the nerve gas in CTU LA.
This year they get hit with an EMP.

Moles everywhere. If you are anywhere near Jack, you will get shot.

Sounds like a horrible place to work!

Don't forget season 6 when the Chinese invaded CTU through the sewer system and blasted that guy Milo right between the eyes.

I would never want to go on a mission with Jack. You'll end up having a dozen bullets in you.

I only caught the second hour because I didn't realize there were two episodes tonight, but that ending was probably the best I've seen in awhile. How was the first hour in comparison?
  • MrMerkinballMrMerkinball Posts: 1,978
Best 2 hour run in a while. Very good episodes last night. When does this one end? 4pm?
  • mca47mca47 Posts: 13,282
I really like(d) the actor who played President Hassan.
For as much as I love 24, "acting" isn't always a complete necessity. I think the dude who played Hassan did it perfectly! Very believable character.

anyone think Renee may be involved now that the Russians are back in play? Maybe her and Tony? Dana just seemed to know too much about Jack Bauer for only having met him once before.
