Yep. I'd guess it's almost a lock with that 2 week gap in April. Glad I used my pre-sale code for the Palladium since it looks like it'll be a while before a proper LA show.

I am hoping NIN plays Coachella with their festival show, which differs greatly from their arena show.

Would love to see that to get the experience of the differences. I was blown away by the arena show.

Also hoping that since Coachella is part of Arcade Fire's proper tour, they'll play a lot longer and mix in more old stuff.

arcade fire is arguably the hottest band on the planet right now. they will sell out 90% of these shows instantly next week, and i don't see good seats coming down in price at all.

I know this was post Grammy, but in 2010 they played two shows at MSG. My friend bailed on his ticket the day before the show and I literally could not sell it for $1 and it was a floor seat.

I bought tix for Pavement one full year in advance because they made it seem like that would be their reunion show. Little did I know they would schedule about 50 dates before that show I got tix for :x .

Not sure about an opener…haven't read anything about that. Might try and make the show in Louisville…we have some friends who live out there and have been looking to visit them.

Just got GA seats for the Chicago show! Too bad the concert is 9 months away.
  • Had no idea these were on sale already. I'm definitely waiting to pick mine up... That's a long time till the Philly show.

Just a presale today for people who pre-ordered the new album. I think regular on sale is Friday. But yeah, it's pretty ridiculous to buy concert tickets 9 months in advance. But I'd rather pay now than get fucked on stubhub in a few months.

Arcadefire.com presale- just put password "reflektor"

I did it 2 hours after they went on sale so only 200 sections left for Barclays. I would have done it for GAs. I will wait until the week of show to see what I can pick up.

Can someone help me understand what is so awesome about this band? I keep trying but I hate them more every time I listen to them. Terrible songs, terrible musicians, they look like the entire McPoyle family. I really need some input!

I guess everyone has their own opinion but i find them to be a very inventive band. I will admit that I am not getting into reflexor yet but that tends to be the issue I have with all their records. what have you heard so far from them?

Umm yeah, I don't think I'll be wearing formal attire or costume. I get what they were trying to do with all the small shows, but to expect an arena full of people to dress up??? That's a little much.

I dont know, I think alot of people are going to dress up. LCD soundsystem did something similar as did Flaming Lips. If they come to my town, I will definitely dress up.

I think its cool. I think its only going to add to the music and the shows.

With the exception of The White Stripes, they are the only band that has put out nothing but great albums over the last 15 or so years. I guess everyone has their own opinion but damn these guys are as close to perfect as you can get. They do things on their terms, their own way and are one of the most innovative bands out there today. I mean they had an album of the year and didn't rush to take advantage and put out a shitty album like Mumford.

Oh and I will be most definitely dressing up. I mean I rock a suit to work so heading over to the show will be a breeze.

I think people miss that you can wear a costume instead.

People (not saying you or anyone here, but everywhere else for sure) seem to be hung up on the formal aspect of it. This is the way it was for the promo shows, its not any different here. Just more people having to do it.

Also, at the warmup shows they handed out masks if you didn't dress up.
