A friend in Chicago saw him in a gym recently and he didn't look good. Well Ozzie and Carlos, that will be a sitcom, just not like Ozzie and Harriet...

    BOOOED???

The 1st day he pitches at Wrigley....

They should give the 1st 15,000 fans slingshots....

So we can spend the day bouncing CrackerJack off Zambranos nose.......

our contract was up and it was a waste of money....we had more than just hte tickets...it included a some of those in game reads by pat on the radio and some flashes of our logo on the tv screen....that shit ain't cheap and the ROI is next to zero.

heck, you might have thrown something away from one of our game day give a ways

i wish they would have kept the ticket portion tho.

Not much plate discipline for Castro. Hit. 307 and OBP was only .340. But its still very hard to complain about this guy...he led the NL in hits in his first full season. He's going to be a good one.

he's over rated. media talks him up. people here talk him up. act like he is the next super super star....when in fact, he's a singles hitting ss with a mediocre glove that hasn't ever seen a ball that he has wanted to take.

sure his fielding should improve and his eye at the plate should improve to the point where he takes more than 1 walk a month, but he's not a super star in the making. imo.

we've discussed this before...yes they have more problems...but at the same time, Cubs fans are trying to turn castro into the savior when they should be treating him as an above avg singles hitter

He fucking led the NL in hits....
In his 2nd year in the major Leagues.......

I never ever ever heard one person say castro is a savior.....

There will be 23 other pieces of garbage, on the Cubs roster, who will lead the team to 100 losses........

Go ahead and give each and every one of them the shit they deserve......

    You can start with Soriano....

ya, his production has been DOWN lately...150 innings a year vs the 200 he used to average.
    his velocity is down
he was always a cancer, but at least he used to dominate...as soon as he became average, his BS caught up with him

    that's an interesting wager

if he can stay healthy and doesn't have any mental melt downs and the marlins pen doesn't cost him any games.....i could see him getting there. gotta figure he is going to be on his best (which isn't saying much) behaviour this year. year 1 is typically a calm year....it's year 3 that you have to worry about.

but it's a wet heat.

it should help him in the april, may and september.

maybe he learns to drink a little more during game....i dunno....it's always easier to bet the under, but 15 wouldn't suprise me.
