i'm not too worried yet. i missed big chunks, but from what i saw, atlanta was hitting everything. joe was 5 for 5 from downtwon and 12/18 overall. that isn't going to be the norm.
and a week off never helps, nor does getting your head pumped with mvp and coach of year talk.
i expect a better performance in game 2
Yeah, Atlanta was shooting lights out most of the game. Johnson and Crawford aren't going to shoot that good the entire series.
He said he should be fine and play in game 2. It's just concerning that he re-injured the same ankle and this will probably linger for this entire playoff run...

How exactly did he re-injure it?
I didn't see it on the highlights.

look for Rose to officially be annouced as MVP today.
Is everyone from Chicago pushing the panic button yet? Atlanta looked pretty tough last night. I would worry about the Bulls' play, and after all, they never did put away my Pacers until that last decisive game.
Joe Johnson is the "killer" that Indiana didn't have!

i'm not worried yet. lose game two and i will be a bit concerned. Johnson shot lights out and overall Atlanta shot the ball very well. Bulls are coming back after a week off and getting their head pumped with the Coach of the year award and the mvp talk.

i expect a stronger performance wed.
With those two awards being announced, especially the MVP, I think Chicago will come out big and Rose will have a stellar performance given his ankle doesn't give him any trouble.

Miami starts sunday night. Should be interesting. Bulls won all three reg season games, although lebron missed the first as did noah i think it was. All the games were close. Bulls d is solid and they match up well with the heat on that end. Should be fun, and hopefully the good guys can pull it out

That's how a champion celebrates! Like pros that expected to be there and know they haven't won anything yet!
the heat, on the other hand, were cheering like there was no tomorrow. they knew beating the celtics was their last chance to celebrate for the rest of the playoffs
