Very ugly game once again. I kept waiting for the Bulls to just put them away, but it never happened. I can see the Pacers winning one in Indy, but this series won't go past 5 games...

Rose limped off the court after rolling his ankle, but he's back on the bench already. That was scary for a second.

He was limping towards the end. Now if they only played the entire game like the last four minutes.

Bulls are up 3-1 in the series vs the 8 seed.
Why would the Bulls risk futher injury by letting Rose play hurt?
They will inject a pain killer/nubing agent into his ankle...
there is a reason we feel pain, so we know when to STOP to prevent more damage.

I say they rest him and take their chances with the team they have.

it's a sprained ankle. tape it up good, and get out there. i've had some bad ones and played without pain inhibitors.

I like that the Bulls have a few days off until the next series starts on Monday. Good to give Rose and Boozer some time to rest from these injuries. Althought I dunno WTF is wrong with Boozer, he looks completely lost out there.

Boozer keeps trying to run pick and rolls. Rose likes to drive off this play.

He needs to take his ass to the low post and demand the ball and somebody needs to feed it to him. Seems to work best with one of the other utah players or deng doing the feeding.

Yeah, that would be nice. But I think its pretty obvious that Boozer has been hurt for awhile now. And now he's got this turf toe thing that happened last night...not good.

turf toe? i didn't hear that. is that why his vertical has been 4 inches?

edit...just read about the turf toe...

if Taj can play with his, Boozer can play with his.

Yeah apparently something happened to Boozer int he 3rd quarter with the toe.

It's obvious that Boozer is soft, but this is the playoffs. Time to step up. Hopefully he can get his body and mind right in these few days off.

    That was uncalled for, Benny.

That being said, I'm sure they're enjoying cocktails on the beach in Mexico, or perhaps another beautiful country that is much easier for them to afford traveling to.

Either that, or we're barking up Jimmer's tree.

Oh yeah, he "tripped over a bag"....I still want to know what really happened.

Was Boozer known for being soft and playing absolutely zero D in Utah too? I mean, I knew he was somewhat of a defensive liability, but I had no idea it was this bad.

Along with being injured often, that was his bigger criticism here. I think Boozer might not be a soft player all around? The night the Jazz played the Bulls (Sloan left the day after), Boozer was cold and getting shut down. The crowd's ridicule got to him I think.

Certainly has his on nights too though. He had some big moments in Utah.

    Uh oh.....

i'm not too worried yet. i missed big chunks, but from what i saw, atlanta was hitting everything. joe was 5 for 5 from downtwon and 12/18 overall. that isn't going to be the norm.

and a week off never helps, nor does getting your head pumped with mvp and coach of year talk.

i expect a better performance in game 2
