I would be completely shocked if they skipped Pittsburgh. Aside from Boston, DC and NYC that has the be the place they are most likely to hit in the north east.
I don't think he's thinking they'll skip Pittsburg. I think he's hoping for 8 shows there.

PLEASE have dates BEFORE 12/22. This is sooooo frustrating. I have airline credit that needs to be booked by that date and I would like to use it to fly to see the band. Otherwise I won;t be able to travel anywhere to see them in 2010. TIMING is everything right now!!! 10C can hold off on ticket sales....I just selfishly want dates so I can book my flight to SOMEWHERE

Last Phoenix show was in 2003. It's too bad...we have some great venues and crowds that ALWAYS show up in a big way. Weather is gorgeous (take out July and August), and on and on and on.
why so early? 6, 7 months in advance? I was shocked when U2 put tix on sale for a July date at Soldier Field a couple weeks ago. seems like PJ isnt too far behind.
I agree! It's kind of ridiculous that bands are putting tickets on sale so far in advance. It's as if the promoters are in the hole and trying to cover some cashflow issues.
"We're short this month, well let's put tickets up for sale for (Fill In The Blank Band), I don't care if the tour isn't until 2011! We need cash!"
It makes it way easier to get days off if you need to travel to a show.. and easier to plan out multiple shows. The way the shows were announced last tour, a few at time, and much shorter notice really made it difficult to plan.
i know i said i wasnt going to say anything after my first post...BUT i feel the need to spread some jam...... had a wombat land on my window sill today and he had a few things to say...some good some not so good...
there is a US tour in 2010...AND YES its going to be a big on....going into 2011 ........and YES the 2010 tour STARTS in the USA......as early as March.... ENDING in NYC BEFORE flying out to europe then back to USA.
and for all you EV fans in europe .........you might get lucky with a SMALL solo tour ...italy,greece,spain,france.....its still up in the air........there have been talks of a ITALY only tour but who knows.......
like i say take it for what you want.... got the info from a few animals...wombat..sloth..and a blue fish to be exact....who knows if there pulling my leg or not....but thats what they say
ill tell you this the wombat knows his shit....the sloth drinks to much and likes to be "THAT GUY"....as for the blue fish.....SHES HOT..so you gotta listen
I can almost guarantee this will NOT happen...why you ask...because that is MY dream... especially the Italy only tour...

New Orleans didn't wash away in Katrina, it's still around. Hint hint. There are a lot of people down here who don't listen to Big & Rich and would love to hear some real ass-kicking music...
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.
I think we in Seattle still need a legit EV solo show. Benaroya Hall would be a perfect spot for it! Who's with me?!?

I went with $58 tix, and I'm not banking on them playing either. But it would be nice!!
so $58 to see Bobby McFerrin do Eminence Front or Happy Jack is ok with you
but $100 to see Pearl Jam is not?
really?
I hear Bobby McFerrin is doing "Don't Worry, Be Happy Jack!"
I have an NYC metrocard with $40 on it that needs to be used before August 2010. Please consider this when you are planning any USA tour in 2010.
There you go guys, now I'm sure they'll do MSG in your Spring/Summer.
hang on to that card, as the MSG shows will take place in May,...

oh man that would be sweet. perfect time for it.
Well my girlfriend and I will be getting married here in West Aust on May 1 and I'm planning for a USA honeymoon in LA, Miami and NYC. She has firmly said we will not be following the band around the states and that she'll be happy to see them with me in ONE of those locations. I'm really hoping for MSG in May/June. After watching and watching and watching 'Live at the Garden', I really want to see the band there. As soon as tour dates are announced I'll be planning the rest of the trip. Is now the time to put in a request for a couple of more shows at Gibson in LA - that is one incredibly great venue.

The St. Paul shows in 06 were overpriced and short because old man petty had to shake his boney ass on stage for two hours.
No Alpine Valley since 2003. Eddie's comment of 'We'll play here next year' is still hanging in the air...
