Charlotte tonight. Hopefully it's not one of those games we should win but lose.
With LaMarshmallow Ball out, no way the Sixers can lose to Charlotte.
Well glad you were right. Pretty much dominating them.

I have a buddy who is insisting that Embiid is the most talented big man in the history of the game. Not necessarily the best big man of all time, but most talented.

I don’t think it’s that far fetched of a notion. Can definitely make an argument.
I guess your buddy never saw the likes of Greg Kite, Paul Mokeski, Chuck Nevitt or Shawn Bradley play.

I bore witness to Shawn Bradley's best game as a pro. I think 30 points, 22 rebounds and 9 blocks vs the Clips in '94.

    All downhill from there!

Should win tonight against the Pacers. Embiid has another monster game. Hope Harden has a better game (shooting wise).

He actually thinks he's worth $20 Mil a season.
I think you guys can find that space.
Or even better we could do a sign and trade. We'll send you Grant, you send us 3 cheesesteaks and we'll win the trade.

With the East clearly being the tougher conference at the top-end if they come away with the 1 seed I don't know how he doesn't win it. I'm not usually That Guy, but I think there is a legit media bias against him, too.
I think there is absolutely a media bias against him and the Sixers in general. Was thinking the whole league lost their minds when that offensive foul was overturned the other night. haha
Embiid is now the Vegas favourite to win MVP

Nice solid win w/out Harden and Embiid for half the game. There was speculation that Embiid might have strained his calf so hopefully if he did, it's not too serious.

Hasn't missed a game in a long time. I wish Doc would've forced him to miss a game or two on some of these back to backs recently. You could tell he looked sluggish the other night .

Probably a lot of other opponents could have rested him and still beaten. Doc probably figures the 2 seed is out the window at this point so just focus on getting ready for the playoffs.

Not sure exactly what the magic number is but I figure a couple more wins locks up the 3 seed. Once we have that, I would just shut Jo and James down. Give them a couple weeks off before playoffs start.

Maybe Embiid, not sure about Harden, he hasn't really shot the ball well at all in the past few games.

Then have Embiid playing in the 4th quarter when we're up 25 or whatever, and get elbowed in the face by some sore loser.

Looking at Cleveland's schedule, they should be favored to finish out 5-0 (not saying it'll happen, but their last 5 games are pretty easy), so Sixers don't look to have the luxury of much rest to hold them off. But there's like 5 off days while the dregs do the play in tourney, so Lion Killer and KFC should have plenty of time to rest.

Sixers are 3 up in loss column and hold the tie breaker with 6 to play. I think they Cavs have a back to back this weekend so hoping they lose one of those.

If they can't get the 2 seed, 3 or 4 aren't all that different. Gotta beat Bucks and Celtics either way.

Oh okay. I guess I was thinking of the two straight in Orlando. Magic have played well recently. Tough to beat the same team twice in a row. Either way, Sixers beat Toronto tomorrow and they're 3 up in loss column with 5 to play plus tie breaker.....one step closer to this baby!

Wouldn't you rather play the Nets as opposed to the Knicks? I think there's a decent sized difference between 3 and 4. Not that much between 2 and 3 though.

Yeah Nets would be easier. Seems like starting at home vs. Boston might provide a boost. That's a long shot I believe.
