So Embiid and Tobias and others were set to take a jet out to talk to Ben in an effort to smooth things over and he told them not to come? I cannot get over how weak minded this fucking guy is. What a bitch.
what happened to JoJo and Toby?

The powder blues looked awesome at Wrigley Field for those 9 day games a year. Eat your heart out kids!

There are very few jerseys in sports I hate more than those baby blue Phillies ones.  Very few.

I've actually grown to dislike them the more they wear them as throwbacks. They look weird in the baggy way players wear stuff nowadays...plus it was a road jersey that they're now wearing at home. Put on the old school maroon pinstripes already.

actually, while I don’t LOVE the yankees’ pinstripes, what’s worse is how they’ve been co-opted by so many other teams….mets, phillies, marlins, padres, rockies, d-bags, cubs, brewers, reds(?), cardinals(?)…..and that’s just the NL aka the league that gets it right.

I was kinda thinking that. It looks so much better in that picture that was posted here from 1980 than it does now. They just look like terrible pajamas now

Not in the minority. It is their best jersey by far.

Unconventional take - I'd like to see the traditional gray jerseys be replaced with powder blue. Nice little changeup there.

I'm sure somebody wore pinstripes before 1923 or whenever.

Anyway sorry not sorry these are boring as ***t. Way to never even bother trying. Ridiculously overrated.

Saw someone post it on twitter. Thought it was funny. There was a report the other day that his camp thought his new team would somehow be able to reimburse him the money he's losing with these missed games. But apparently that's not the case. So, who knows, maybe he'll now show up and pull a Costanza and try to pretend as if nothing happened...lol

Certainly not the most exciting thing in the world, but I’m going to the preseason game tonight. Never been to one before, so it should be fun enough.

I’m sure I’ll have plenty of overreactions, both positive and negative, that won’t matter about 30 seconds into the first actual game.

Ohhh yah. And the more local and smaller the better. Fucking weirrrrrrd scene. Now, full disclosure, I was a huge Hulkamaniac wrasslin' fan as a kid. But regardless, still fun!

Buddy of mine - best man in my wedding - gave it a whirl going pro so that gave it a very, very surreal experience. We'd get tix ringside at the old ECW Arena/2300 Arena and get absolutely hammered. It was weird to have the moms of these little kids ooooh'ing a guy I know personally in the ring. I'd say something like, "oh, you like him? hold on..." (yell for him to come over after the match, comes over gives these ladies hugs all sweaty, signs stuff for the kids). Ahhhh man hahahah so weird. Good times.

They are mayhem. I haven’t been to one since I sold tickets for the sixers, but they are fun. I don’t follow it a little bit anymore though

Adolescent Cliffy got to see Stacy Keibler’s ass at a WCW event at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena back in the day. Was a formidable moment

I think Stacy Kiebler is married to George Clooney. Pro wrestling is worth it, I'd say!

I hate that I know this, but they dated, but not married.  He's married to some human rights lawyer and lives in Italy...prick.

Hahaha, I only know this because of pro wrestling.....she was also a cheerleader for the Ravens (not a stalker).

I did not know she was a cheerleader, so you beat me there.  Hard (no pun intended) same on the knowing her via pro wrestling
