Ugh. I have tix for Saturday v. The Heat. Before the season started, I was really hoping Bynum would be playing by now. How the hell am I supposed to enjoy this game?
    Alright, alright, alright!

By watching the BEST player in the game?

Bynum wouldn't play when he had a BOO-BOO when he was in Highschool, so i'm not SURPRISED that he's STILL not playing. Bruised knees? SUCKS cuz he would help the sixers ALOT.

It's already not pretty. My wife got an email through work about these tix before the season started and I said to get a pair. She did and they arrived a couple weeks ago. I looked at them last night for the 1st time. The price on the ticket was $25 for sec 219. Then I looked at the receipt and it showed $50ea. Turns out it was a broker service that her work uses and she didn't know. Now we know. I feel violated, $100 for 2 Sixers tix!

you guys are kinda stuck ... although i have said that a playoff berth is a worthy goal - i do kinda side with the fixer now ... you're better off shutting bynum down ... trading turner and hawes ... and then trying to score a top 5 pick this summer ...

the really sad part is you're like 4 games out of a playoff spot ... it's doable ... but if he doesn't play soon ... i think you should shut him down ...

it's a wasted season at this point.

thad and richardson have been out for a long time too. they don't have a shot if 3/5's of their lineup is not on the court.

part of me still wants to see what this team looks like with bynum healthy...but at this point, it is basically a lost season so not making the playoffs would be fine by me.

so incredibly frustrating. i'm at a loss with what to do with bynum.....on one hand, if the guy is healthy, they'd have the best center on the conference to go with an all star point guard and some other nice pieces.....on the other hand, this is the sixers and he might never be fully healthy ever again. is the risk in resigning him worth the reward? i don't know. it's not an easy answer.

    what say you?

well ... like i said when the trade was first made ... it was a high risk high reward proposition ... risk not only being his health but his mental make up as well ... also, hard to say whether his success was related to playing with kobe and pau ...

personally, i would see what he wants ... if he wants max money and big term ... forget it ... i'll let him go ... maybe try and get some pieces for a sign and trade ... if he's willing to take a deal that is loaded with incentives based on health and performance ... go for it ...

thing is - it's pretty obvious that you need top end talent in this league ... and there really isn't a lot of it floating around in FA ... so, you have to draft good ... getting lottery picks are not easy to come by either ...

The Heat game was about what I expected. They can't defend a team like that. At one point, the lineup the Sixers had on the court was embarrassing. They basically would have to not miss a single shot to beat the Heat. Allen and Hawes can hit an open jumper and no one drives but Jrue.

I just saw the Melo play from last night and how wasn't he ejected? Don't they go to replay on plays like that?

ah, someone finally see the light.

glad they stayed pat at the deadline. gotta keep this beast squad intact. If that smith for turner/hawes deal was on the table that is ridiculous that they turned it down. Even if smith signed elsewhere, it's still addition by subtraction (and gets them closer to where they should be trying to go, which is to be as bad as possible)

they're such a joke. same old sixers

yup...at this point, just lose. maybe jrue comes down with a mystery illness or something.

no bynum, no richardson, no thad for a month = this team had no chance. get a decent pick/or package it in a trade...use the cap space and reload for next year.

the smith trade would have just made them a little bit better for this year...maybe squeaking into the playoffs/losing a lottery pick. i'm glad that didn't happen. it's now tank time.

..thank god for the college teams this year.

As a head coach, you can't walk off the court before the games over. Maybe we'll be like the Bulls and win some championships after Doug's gone?:lol::lol:

he looked like he was about ready to say "fuck it. i quit" last night. .....everyone knows his track record but it's just amazing that it plays out almost exactly to form no matter where he's at.

tough to blame him with the way things have gone this year though.

I just read a stat that said there were 84 missed FG's in the game last night. Spencer Hawes didn't get 83 of them, he's 7'1"!
