Considering this was recorded by the custodian, it sounds really good.  It's not great like something recorded in RVG's living room, but really good and a special show.
The real McCoy is good too.

One person I don't hear much about here is Kenny Burrell who is a jazz guitarist.  There is a reissue of Introducing Kenny Burrell which is priced nicely and really, really gorgeous.  Highly recommended.  Mastered by Kevin Gray.

One of the first Tone Poet releases I grabbed. Kenny is a great guitarist. I love the clean tone of jazz guitar and how effortlessly the greats made their style sound even when they were playing ridiculously hard material.

Kenny Burrell is fantastic. There will be a reissue of Midnight Blue later this year as part of the Blu Note Classic Series.

As for jazz guitar don’t forget about Wes Montgomery and Grant Green. Smooth like butter...

Good move!  If you're a Monk fan, you'll love it!  Considering it was recorded by the school's janitor, it's still hard to believe the great sound quality.  Super good album!

(Looks like I repeat what mrussel said- sorry for the duplication, M!)

Oooh!  I must look for this.  I saw Kenny in a cool jazz club in S.F. back in around '72.  It was awesome- so cool!
