    7 inch Delivered today

Mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow...
    Looking forward to spinning it!!!
I know how this sounds, but the hole was too small for my plug.

    Anyone else have this issue?
So no one else's hole is too small, then?

    Just mine?

    Mmkay....
Bust out a tap and dye kit and go to work.

Wouldn't a hole saw be easier?

I would actually take a fresh drill bit and gently turn it by hand to take off a layer or two. Is it massively undersized?

I've used a utility knife and twisted a little at a time until it fits.
    Alright, alright, alright!

I'd be worried I would cut it oblong (not a perfect circle) and that it wouldn't spin correctly. That's not a risk?

I'd be posting in the MOTHERFUCKER thread on AET with whatever fingers I have left after attempting that trick.

I had the tip in, no jokes here, with the non sharp end against the opposite side. I didn't use too much pressure and it worked fine. I wasn't trying to cut the whole larger from the face of the album.

Use a hook blade.. You won't cut yourself with it. I still think a drill bit is a better place to start as you'll keep the hole perfectly symmetrical.

I use an xacto knife. Using no pressure, just spin it in the hole a couple of turns.

I'm going to spin it today for the first time.
I've never heard the River or Nebraska for that matter.
Nebraska is my favorite Springsteen release, by FAR.

I love turning the lights down and spinning State Trooper.. it's so dark and brooding.

Awesome purchase! How does it sound? Also, if you don't mind, how much did you end up paying for it?

Thanks PJ88, sounds pretty good, it's mostly electronic sounds from that era for a few random U2 songs, so sounds a little dated, great dynamics though. I found this very cheap, NZ$15, which is about US$10..
