I believe the last day is today Matt @mfc2006 lots of great deals.
From what I’ve gathered, this sale is more of a clearance sale. Titles that are marked 50% off is random and varies from store to store. My local store had some of the above pictured albums on the shelves, were not marked down.
I spoke with the music manager. He said corporate gave them a list of titles/artists that weren't moving enough compared to new artists. A LOT of good stuff at two of our stores. Lots of 80s, 90s, 00’s alternative/punk/rock/indie.
Tons of PJ, NIN, Zeppelin, U2, Cornell solo albums, etc. also some new titles tho.
Twin Peaks soundtrack with Eddie. Brandi Carlisle covers album with PJ. It was hundreds if not thousands of records

I stopped at another B&N in the Twin Cities. Very random mark downs again. Some White Stripes, Beck, Bowie, Black Crowes and some Dead. nothing on my buy list, but some deals to be had.

Great tip CP! I did some shopping and picked up 8 records. They're probably 20% over priced to start, by me, but still great deals. This Dexter Gordon is gorgeous and an excellent pressing.
Surprised if there was only 1200 made of the Canadian Ten boxset. Ive got the EU pressing of the boxset but seemed like quite a big pressing.
World is full of surprises.
Just saw the photos, never seen this version before. They must have figured that was the limit of interest there would be for Canada. Weird that they would restrict it to one chain as well. Over the past few years theyve done lots of HMV exclusives in the UK but they tend just to be on a different coloured vinyl or something.

I’m not even sure HMV exists anymore, at least in Canada. They used to be everywhere like Starbucks. Lol. I’ll report back once I get it in the mail this week.
The one I bought had the matching barcode identifier listed on the link you looked at. Can’t say for sure why. I’ll try to find out
