And this would have to be one of the albums of the year and possibly Foals best...

I purchased these 2 from a neighbors garage sale for $1 a piece. a couple decent songs but man are there some dogs.

I really hope there was some better music in '72 than just these 30 Monster Hits! Ha!

Get the new one (Mutilator is defeated at last) and start with the first track and enjoy! Withered Hand is my favorite right now...

I'd recommend Carrion Crawler/The Dream EP next. It's 2 EP's on one album and has 10 tracks, it's another doozie..

went to Ameoba Records in LA for the first time last week.....HOLY CRAP! What an experience! It was a tad overwhelming & I had 8-9 albums in my hands at one point...haha! I had to slow down a bit & decided to pick the 2 that I would listen to the most. One of which was a no-brainer b/c it's my favorite Nick Cave album.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds--Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus
    Ryan Adams--Love Is Hell boxset

then I randomly found VS & Vitalogy on Cassette! Haha!

Will be spinning those records while getting caught up on work today & I can't wait! I truly could have spent all day in that store...wow.
    I LOVE MUSIC.

What is special about that place? I bought a record from them online. I will be going to LA next week should I make a point to stop by?!

It's gigantic with pretty much every record, CD, cassette tap you can think of. If you're a record browser, you can spend hours upon hours in there. It's too big for my taste though, feels like I'm at a warehouse rather than a record store. I enjoy more ambiance.

As do I, but it's more than worth it to go there once.

You'll be able to find those 1-5 lp's that you can't find anywhere else, plus a bunch of rare stuff.

For example, PJ20 colored LP set for $300.
