Good stuff! Amsterdam has some amazing record stores! The Billie Holiday on the top right is my fave from the stash. We are just starting to explore Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and I have heard people saying this is their weakest album. I still like it a lot! The two German ones I got because sometimes I want to listen to German stuff too, and these are singers I know from my childhood. The red album in the middle is by The Notwist, a German band that somehow sounds like an a little bit more electronic version of Failure to me. I used to listen to them a lot a while ago and was happy to pick this album up. Buddy Holly, oh well, it is Buddy Holly - fabulous

Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

Leeze, I dig the Notwist's Neon Golden. I had a promo of that one from my record store days.

Great haul, can't go wrong with some Buddy Holly, a true original..
This is a recent reissue of a record that originally came out in 97', got this as it has my favourite Beta Band song on it, the fabulous 'Dry The Rain'.

Right on. Is it an official reissue?

Yep absolutely, they've reissued the first three EP's that made up the compilation album 'The Three EP's'...

Sigur Ros ( ) on clear vinyl. Sounds beautiful. I guess there was a bad stamper and a bunch of these clear copies are defective. I got lucky.

On my list.... How's the sound on it? Did they do a good job?
I did notice that it sounded a little compressed at a couple of points and some crackling more than I am used to from a new record, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Had it at normal level and cranked it as well, sounded fine

I don't think I've ever even heard of this band. Am going to give them a listen.
Yep you should, definitely interested to know what you think of them PJ_Soul. They do mainly pop songs, but in an alternative rock kinda way, the main guy, singer/songwriter Mark 'E' Everett is a bit of a tortured genius. The two records I've posted would be a good place to start...

Have been listening since I posted that last comment, and yup, they are awesome. Definitely right up my alley! Thanks (again!)!

Eels are brilliant, every album is terrific and there is a lot of them. I have all the 1st pressings but had to get the dreamworks boxset as well for the live LP. I like Es 1st 2 albums as well. E puts out a lot of records and usually nicely priced.
