Yesterday I received a brand new, sealed "Marshall Allen Presents Sun Ra and His Arkestra: In the orbit of Ra" a limited 2 LP release that I was super lucky to score, massively happy to receive... until I looked closely at the package. It had big red FRAGILE and DO NOT BEND stamped on it and it WAS BENT! I'm pretty sure not enough to break the vinyl but probably enough to warp it. The sender didn't insure it and the USPS said, "too bad, so sad." I haven't been able to get myself to open it yet. Hopefully it will play if warped. Maybe tomorrow I'll work up the nerve to see. :-(

The Arkestra gods watched over this one- it looks and plays fine- very slight warping but not enough to affect play at all. This is killer music as well- awesome! Thank you, Sun Ra!

We have this one too, and I love it.

I haven't checked back on here in a while cause we have a house to finish! I cannot wait to get back into the vinyl buying frenzy once we are done. In the new house, we will finally have all the vinyl in the living room again as well as the stereo. No neighbour will be complaining about anything because we are alone in our house! Wohoo! We have acquired a couple of Expedits while they were still available and I cannot wait to house them all in their new spot. And add siblings :D

@ robbyD462 - I posted a picture in a facebook vinyl community of Lightning Bolt and a fellow member posted that they owned Ten and Binaural. Upon questioning owning Binaural and only Ten, I pursured a deal to acquire his copy of Binaural. He said he worked in a record store when it came out and grabbed it due to that. Obviously not a PJ fan so I offered him $100 for it and now I finally own it :) It need a cleaning but no scratches and a little surface noise during Soon Forget, but everything else is A+
