Johhny Cash - American IV: The Man Comes Around

I've not played it yet, in fact I could do with some people's opinions........

I preordered this back in October from an independent online retailer, the price was pretty steep (around £35), but at the time it wasn't available anywhere else, so I figured it was either pay the price or do without. Anyway, the release date kept getting moved, and the seller didn't make any attempt to communicate this via email or anything. In the meantime Amazon put up a presale, and the record is less than half the price that I paid. So I emailed the seller and asked if I could get a refund, they said I could, although the record would be available in a week or so. I replied saying I would still like the refund, and I've heard nothing since. Since then they've sent the record out to me. Obviously it's going to be a hassle to send it back, and I think they were banking on that so they could get out of giving me a refund.

Maybe I'm looking at this wrong, but I can't help thinking that's pretty lousy customer service.

Yes and YES! Good Movie, Great Soundtrack.

I have totally immersed myself in folk and old bluegrass music lately. I bought the book 1000 Recordings to Hear Before You Die...and have really listened to a lot of music outside of my comfort zone. Really great!

The first three Led Zeppelin deluxe vinyl editions on pre-order. :) $114 on Amazon.ca after taxes and free shipping.... It's more expensive on Amazon.com by a few bucks per album btw, which I found a bit odd, especially with the CND $ dipping the way it is.

    The Smiths - Panic!
Bootleg recording from 1986, claims on the back that "this album is thought to be one of the highest quality live Smiths recordings in existence". It certainly sounds amazing.
