They've done that to me too. One regular album, and it was in this massive box with some of those plastic air pillows in it. Really stupid. I'm thinking they just use them when they run out of boxes meant for vinyl. I just got a delivery today (Jim James - yay), and it's in a normal package meant for vinyl.DewieCox wrote:Newch91 wrote:
You got an Amazon box?DewieCox wrote:
Yeah, ridiculous. Mine came in the same kinda box, but escaped any damage fortunately. Last time I ordered from them I though they had straightened out their vinyl shipping methods.
Yeah, one big enough to hold 15 records. Had the Zeppelin box and a 4 or 5 section piece of the giant bubbles to protect it. It was moving around when I lifted it and I had a bad feeling, but I don't think there's a scratch on it. You'd think they would at least put enough packing in there to stop it from moving. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. saw it at the flea market and my eyes lit up.
don't think I will ever spin Ed's version again. love the original. Ed didn't add enough to it to make a huge difference in my opinion. fantastic song as is.

It's a REALLY great song (although I've still gotta vote for EV's version). That's a great album though! Would love to stumble up on that one!restlesssoul wrote:

I simply tuck them all in on one end next to the LPs. I'm not fancy.msjpearson wrote:I loved the tip of using the ikea expedit shelf to store my lp's. how do you all store your 45's?

Nice, you played it yet, what do you think of the sound quality? I think it's really good, Jimmy Page knows what he's doing...F5AgainstOne wrote:
