Just got these yesterday. Vinyl heaven!

    (two images were deleted)

I should be less lazy and post my own photos. These were Elliot Smiths self-title on the Kill Rock Stars label and the 4 record boxed re-issue of Sonic Youth's "Daydream Nation". :)

Hi Brian, Morello, nah, not Tenclub, got it from Real Groovy, it's the black version, great packaging and comes with a download code and stickers. Have played it through, first time I've heard the entire thing as wanted to hear it on vinyl first. The sound quality is OK, not amazing.

What's the issues people are having with them? Mine has a few pop's on a track on side 2, not sure which track it is yet.

You haven't been reading/heard of the issues? Heaps of popping & scratches & just absolute rubbish basically, also ripped covers.

I too am hanging out for my vinyl for proper listens. I've listened to my flac download many times but definitely feel like I haven't really heard it until I have the vinyl. Waiting..... waiting.....

Anyone know if/where it's possible to get plastic sleeves that will fit 3 vinyl sets? I just got the 2x Nirvana re-issues as I've posted above & I've kept the plastic wrap they came in whole for now but doubt that'll last long. Any ideas? :)

I use box set covers. It should work pretty well for that set.

Where do you get box set covers? ... For that matter, where do people buy their outter sleeves generally? All of my searches have turned up crazy prices for them! Surely they aren't all THAT expensive??

Thanks rcs, such a great album. I've been pretty lucky lately, my local record store has a huge amount of second hand stuff and they have made space for even more. I was talking to a guy and not sure if this is true but, sounds like they pick up a lot of unwanted stuff from Amoeba Records in L.A. and get it over here to NZ. Works for me as I've noticed they have an even better selection than before, so I've managed to pick up a few bargains, including this beauty for only $20NZ. :D

Sooooo jealous! Probably my favorite from them, but that's a hard call as they are all so great. Crank it up and enjoy!

Nice! But what's up with the LB inner sleeve, damaged? My inner sleeve looks different, it's a printed one...

Got rid off most the click's and pop's on side two by giving the record a good clean with IPA. Side one sounds fine and side two I can live with now... ;)

I was thinking of picking up Trouble Will Find Me by The National and Stories Don't End by Dawes on vinyl this week. Both I have on CD and love the discs. Do these sound good on vinyl? Thanks.
