I got these 5 for Xmas - I wish I knew how to post pictures, but I can't get it to work:
1) Led Zeppelin II - Japanese release
2) Pink Floyd - DSOTM - 30th Anniversary
3) Dead Weather - Horehound
4) White Stripes - White Blood Cells
5) The Who - Quadrophenia (used)
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
Judgement Night MOV pressing, yet to play it, I requested this a few months ago on their website as suggestion for part of their excellent vinyl re-release program, so was so pleased when it was picked up, looking forward to Mad Season and I pre-ordered Singles OST as well.
A lame film but one hell of a soundtrack, my Wife also got me Gorillaz Plastic Beach as well as Mark Lanegan I'll Take Care of You for Christmas.
I got The Mars Volta as a gift. Not really my type of music but I'm still grateful.
What album is this? I've got all their CDs but I don't recognize it. I've been looking for their older stuff on vinyl and all I can find is their last album (which kind of blows) and a live one.

Bedlam In Goliath should be easy enough to find and it's probably the coolest package, black/red split colored vinyl with a planchette shaped bonus record.
Deloused is a bitch to find
Amputechture and Frances can be had if you're willing to pay a little extra, but nothin outrageous for as cool as the packages are.
I though their new album kicked ass. I know I'm in the minority, but I thought it was refreshing without the 10 minute tree frog segueways and overuse of effects.

Granted, I haven't looked too desperately - just haunting my record shop and browsing a few online sites...
I get that about the effects. 5+ records in, they're starting to sound a bit redundant to me, but it does make it easier to listen to when it's actual music instead of just tweaked background noise.
Can I ask where you shop? I'm sort of new to vinyl and Octahedron and Scabdates are literally the only two I've come across. (Okay, I just checked Insound.com and they have Bedlam too...)
Had the cd, but couldn't pass up the vinyl on ebay for $8
I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side

If you have a chance to make life better for others, and fail to do so, you are wasting your time on this earth.
I just got Disintegration reissue. It's fabulous. I love side 3 of the album. It's absolutely fantastic on vinyl. I also ordered The Velvet Underground and Nico and snagged a first pressing Quadrophenia on eBay.

I completely agree. I have this one as well and it is great on vinyl.

Good album. I could do with a new one! Mine is an overplayed 1980s thing, thin as hell and scratched.
