I'm still waiting on the double 12" reissue of the Afghan Whigs '1965'. Wish it'd hurry up! I'm waiting on the Into the Wild reissue and the EV 'Better Days' 7", too. Oh, and I'm waiting on the Super Deluxe version of Soundgarden's "Telephantasm". None of which have arrived yet.

OK - have given up on posting about vinyl in the Porch, think it's time to join you guys. I forgot about this thread, sorry
Another town, another great secondhand vinyl haul. The Oxfam charity shops may not be the cheapest, but they specialise in great condition 60s and 70s vinyl in some shops, and all the records I've bought like this in the past few years are my most played, best sounding buys.
Today:
and the piece de resistance - this Byrds 1966 mono awesome condition. Worth it for the electric blue cover alone. Class, can't wait to spin this one back home!

Oxfam second hand shops coming up trumps again for vintage 1960s vinyl. Just saw this on ebay for £25 - I got it for a fifth of that
(One of my favourite albums that I've never owned on vinyl)
Also my great local record store has just kicked off a 'new vinyl' sale. Got these for very reasonable price
(My second copy of this on vinyl - hoping it's not a digital remaster, will compare to my 1970s pressing.)
Edit: The verdict: fucking atrocious. A CD on wax..... not good! Tangled up in blue with crystal clear guitars that sound like they have had icing sugar sprayed all over the top. An acoustic guitar sounds nothing like a CD version guys! At least Dylan seems to have got this message judging by his latest vinyl analog mono mastered stuff....Straight back to the 1970s version. Infinitely better, but I think I can seek out a better version of this - homework - to look into what analog editions there are. Then: a record fair hunt!!
And finally
Looking forward to spinning this later!!

Interesting - the "hidden" track is the first song on side 2, complete with dead air afterward, before Cold & Ugly.
Fakkin sweet. It's a different mix than the CD, optimized for vinyl.
1966 Mono - sweeet!! Holland-Dozier tastic. Sounding great, especially Side 1! Recommended
