Why does this O'Sullivan character make me nervous? the Yanks should slap him around considering he has a whole 58 innings in the big leagues, but the Yanks seem to fall asleep against these guys. Let's go Yanks! Keep it up.

probably because what you see in the video room, doesn't translate to live action. Without actually looking it up, I'd guess that several teams good and bad have this similar problem. You posted about Zach Duke in the Phillies thread and when he came up he won his first six decisions and there's a good chance, it's the same reason.

Absolutely Xavier, but I mean they had a good approach in the 1st and then it went to shit. I am sure you're right about a lot of teams having this problem, just always seems to happen to the yanks.

Does granderson looks as awful in person as he does on tv?

And I didn't realize that about duke. Good comparsion.

Hopefully Baltimore can finish the comeback. Big double for tejada.

i think part of it is still timing from being out for a month. I had him pegged for a .260 hitter if all went right (no injuries etc). I want the guy to do well here because he's a really good guy and I still think he can.

Hey, you guys want Zach Duke? All it'll cost you is Montero, and Hughes. Make it happen.
  • Cliffy6745Cliffy6745 Posts: 33,840
Yeah, that month did kill him. Tough to pick up after a month when you were not hitting in the first place. I do too, I like him a lot. It's getting frustrating though.

Shit. Might be a deal breaker. I'm sure they'll be willing to budge.

Absolutely, even though last nights loss was pretty frustrating. The game in baltimore was great. The O's came back from 2 down in the bottom of the 9th and 1 down in the 12th I believe.

Hell yeah! I get to watch some afternoon Yankees before my baseball game tonight at 5. Gets me pumped up! Especially if they win in walk off fashion.
