That's terrible. I haven't been there in years but that would be really disappointing.

NOOOOO!!! Please don't close. I was there once in October 2010 and I loved it there. My uncle managed the waitress to let me keep a menu from there. I loved the burger and wings I had from there. The chairs were also cool with the 7 carved into them.

I've been there a couple of times. They made some pretty good apple martinis. (Please don't revoke my man card  ).

Anyone ever had the chance to go to Mattingly's 23 before it closed? I found a hat from there on Ebay so of course I had to buy it.

    Freddy blooooows.

Looks like there won't be too much need to flick back and forth from the rangers

Can they please stop starting Garcia after this?
  • DS1119DS1119 Posts: 33,497
I'd be surprised if he starts another one for the yanks. No velocity. No movement.

Ibanez in right and Jones in left. This could get interesting. :fp:

Jeter is just ridiculous. Still busting his ass down the line like he's a rookie trying to make the team.

Ibanez in the Yankee uniform while at bat reminds me of Tino for some reason.

Can always rely on CC to give the bullpen a rest after a long day for them.

Beautiful day at the stadium yesterday. My first game of the year. Good win, solid start from CC. I thought Jackson had the Granderson home run, that would have been unreal.

Swisher's out for at least a week with a hamstring injury. Nunez and Ibanez will be in the corner OF spots tonight.

Should be interesting for a few days until Gardner gets back.

Girardi: "When we put [Nunez in the OF] in Spring Training, nobody hit the ball to him. Maybe that'll happen tonight."

    Oh god.

Fuck yeah. Another really good start from Kuroda. I love watching him pitch when he's on. Works quick, throws strikes. Great signing.

Just like they drew it up. 7 from Kuroda, 1 from Robertson, 1 from mo

how about Nunez last night in left field. Funny line from Andruw Jones, who knows a thing or two about playing the outfield from his prime years with the Braves:

It's guys laughing because that's Nunie, he's a funny guy," Jones said. "Everything he does is funny. He talks funny. He runs funny. He swings funny. He catches the ball funny. Everything he does is funny. That's why everybody is laughing."

Pettitte is testifying today. Definitely a good thing to get it out of the way, assuming this is it.

Do you consider Clemens a Yankee.....or a sock?

or does it kind of depend on the verdict?

Both. Hall of Fame, if it happens, should be Boston, considering he played the vast majority of his career there.
