    do a search on that. those were some big time poker games with arm guards and shit. story a few weeks ago was that Tobey Maguire was being investigated for the game because some financial dude lost millions to tobey him and his investors are suing Maguire to get the money back. i think they guy may have even been running a ponzi scheme to raise the money. last i saw was the FBI was involved in looking into those games. it's more involved than just some dudes playing a home game.

    The only reason the FBI cares is because there is so much money involved. I don't see the big deal, obviously MLB does.

    the difference is that the yanks don't care about the luxury tax and the phils do. the phils have a budget (albeit a higher when than they've ever had), the yanks don't

    They blow through their budget every year. They'll just hike ticket prices another 10%, and they'll get over the luxury tax thing.

    Too bad I have missed this entire week. Jeter seems to be locked in the past few days.

    Offense seems to be clicking. Hopefully this team can get in a groove. Yankees will be picking up one of the best hitters in baseball in the next week or so.
