I actually fee bad when I see a decent pitcher (Floyd) give up 10 runs in two innings...
Then there's Burnett..wtf? 7 runs, 13 hits in four innings? awful.

Floyd makes $4 million per year...I dont feel bad for him. He is so inconsistent.

The Yanks sure caught the white sox at the right time....sox are completely falling apart right now.

I'd give Hughes one more start to see if his last one was a fluke before making any more rotation decisions, but honestly, with the way Nova is pitching lately, I'd send Burnett down. They're not going to do that, because he's more established and costs the team more money, but he's the weakest link right now.

This is big time baseball this weekend in Boston. Right where the season gets going. Its a new season from here on out and gets going head to head tomorrow. This is gonna be fun.

Hughes has been on his second spring training and has actually pitched better since coming back. 4 of his last 5 starts have been quality. He basically has been working up to his last start. I agree with doing something with Burnett.

But how important is it? They're both going to the playoffs and the Yanks have shown that they couldn't give a shit about home field. Maybe it's just a matter of avoiding Texas in the 1st round, I guess.

Gotta get that one game Wild Card playoff going next year.

definitely and just because the AL Central winner will have a worse record doesn't assure anything either. But it must such a big series since I'm only watching one of the games this weekend...
