I'd love if JC Romero ended up on your team. But sometimes relievers turn things around, so you never know. He hasn't been too good since he stopped going to GNC.

Yeah, I don't know. I kind of see it as a Millwood/Silva signing. We'll see and as long as he ONLY pitches to lefties then it might be worth a shot for a couple weeks.

wait---you guys signed carlos silva too? :o

so let's see.....freddie garcia, check. kevin millwood, check. carlos silva, check. jc romero, check.

    am i missing anyone?

Silva has come and gone, signed him, sat in the minors for a month of two and released.

Mark Prior but he's been hurt all year, go figure.

Freddy has an ERA of 3.13.

Keith Law's midseason top 50 prospects are out today. Not good for you guys...

    Jesus Montero C 6-4 225

Analysis: His bat still hasn't really come around, although I have to believe the power and patience are all still in there. For a guy who projects as a first baseman or DH, though, .289/.346/.418 isn't an inspiring offensive performance given his history. Preseason Ranking: 4

EDIT: His midseason ranking didn't paste here, but he's down from 4 to 21

Nunez is fucking horrible. 11 fucking errors for a guy that has played less than 30 games probably.

    Not a good start.

    Edit: 51 games, still horrible

I'm not too worried about montero. He has gone on streaks this year and he will be fine. Some people think he's bored and some people think his defensive work is taking a toll on his offense. I want him to be in the big leagues right now though.

Bartolos doctor says a stem cell treatment for arod would have him back on the field in 2 days rather than 4-6 weeks. Now i want to make sure arod gets it right and has no long term impact but that is just nuts. We are going to see this treatment explode soon

Fucking crazy. They are going to be so rich. I read about 30 games into the season there were already pitchers calling this guy after they saw what Colon was doing.
