This was show 36 for me and except for maybe Wachovia Center '05, this set was amazing. I was in 223 row 9 (sidestage) and I could watch almost every persons face on the floor. This was my first side stage view and I loved every minute of. Dude in front of me caught the last tamborine EV threw. There were nothing but smiles and fist pumps all night long. I was there Tuesday and thought maybe that was a Top 5 show but this show topped that by leaps and bounds. Tuesday was still incredible. Crowd was into everything, except for the chubby, miserable chick who was sitting 4 rows behind me texting all night. Tremor Christ????? I have only seen it once, Boston (mansfield) 03 and it made my entire week and its tough to top The Phils split in NY. Thats BIG. I loved the RAUL chants from EV and the Lets Go Phillies chants from the crowd. I am still trying to digest it all. Not going tomorrow, though I do have 2 tickets on StubHub, and boy do I wish i could go. If tomorrow is anything like tonight then it is gonna be legendary.
WHAT A SHOW!!!! EPIC! This show blew my mind! What a setlist! As soon as they started playing In My Tree I knew it was gonna be an amazing night. And the crowd - thank you for being amazing! The energy was out of this world. Brought my brother and sister-in-law to the show and it blew their minds as well. I am worn out! Can't imagine how the band must be feeling.
"I need your strength for me to be strong...I need your love to feel loved"
I, too, am about to pass out, but before I do let me just say: UnBelievably PheNominal Show!!!! I went Wed. and was afraid I would never get that "out of this world, mind-bending feeling" again at a PJ show, ya know? That feeling we all had 7-10 years ago... I actually thought either I was getting too old or had seen them too many times. WRONG!!! Anyone who is secretly harboring this fear like I was, Let IT GO!! Tonight Blew my mind. Blew it, I say!!! I rocked out way harder than my years/# of shows should allow. I defied time this evening, all because this F*cking show was Ridiculous!! Tremor Christ, Off He Goes, Crazy Mary, Breathe, FOOTSTEPS for christ's sake. I can (almost) take no more. Goin tomorrow (in costume) though I could die Happy right now. Keep thinkin' about what's left for tomorrow: Release, Immortality, Come Back, Man of the Hour...etc. I don't know how I'm gonna do it. Thank you Pearl Jam. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! You've brought my early days w/you back to me. I LOVE YOU , Always Have, Always Will. I owe you so much, I don't know how you do it. Tonight is untouchable. Brilliant. No words to do it justice...goodnight my fellow fans, all is right with the world
"Don't turn away from possible futures unless you're certain you have nothing to learn from them."
this was the greatest fucking show of my entire life!! i can go on and on and on. the setlist is OUT OF CONTROL!! as well as the crowd. totop tonight, halloween show needs to be beyond my wildest dreams.. btw you forgot to list deep on the setlist!! thats critical!

Husband's # got us lottery seats in 10th row, center aisle seats of section 103.
UN.
REAL!
Definitely in my top 3 shows of all time. And I was at Orlando HOB in 2003! Mike was having so much fun with the crowd! I got such a kick out of his laps around the stage. Ed was genuinely impressed by us (and you can tell when he's just pandering and when he's truly proud). They sounded as tight as the other nights, but definitely with more energy! Crowd around us wasn't out of control, but definitely very into the show (with the exception of a girl next to my husband who didn't crack a smile or move her body for the entire show)! Four guys in front of us bounced in unison for almost the entire show, and were awesome for it!
Can't even wrap my head around the setlist. Tremor Christ blew me away! LOVE that song! Deep was a-ma-zing! Breath is one of my favorite songs and I LOVED it tonight!
Just such a fantastic show. Can't even begin to imagine how tomorrow will top it, but I'm sure it will even if we don't win the lottery again!
Deep was between In Hiding and Habit. Deep and Habit back to back was absolutely incredible, as was Jeremy and Breath back to back. But I have to say, I've been waiting sooooooooo long for Present Tense live, and tonight I got it for the first time, and it did not disappoint. That was my personal highlight.

In 18 years of shows...this seriously tops it. We had a GREAT group around my area...225 row 6. HOLLA!!!! We were insane. I am dirty, sweaty, and my feet hurt. I need to soak in a tub to make it through tomorrow.
I *heart* Mike...really. He is SOOOOO fun and really pays so much attention to everyone. Eddie called out Joni from Australia and she was side stage for quite a bit of the show...he talked about her accident in Hawaii. BEST BAND EVER.
It was hard to get a cab, though...I hate to see whet it is like tomorrow night.
ha,ha,ha, i was in row 1 at home in front of my computer and tv!!! That show i bet sounded amazing. man........... this band is unreal i saw them night 1 and 2... one word for them.....muthatruckin' aweaome
I can't even make a playlist like that on my Ipod. Great show. Glad to have been there. Almost all my great white whales are gone except one (Inside Job) Hopefully that gets played tommorrow. Great white whale is a moby dick reference i.e. songs you really want to see but never managed to get played on the shows you are at.
REALLY great show...REALLY great. I thought the bleachers in 213 were going to fall the fuck apart. RVM and Baba were incredible....loved the new stuff too!
incredible, simply incredible. "i wasn't even supposed to be here today" LOL which makes it all the more incredible. got lucky and scored tickets for tonight two days ago and this set list was amazing, the energy just kept building and building. i was in sec 208 row 2. this was my 14th show and tomorrow is #15, this just may crack my top 3 and tomorrow is supposed to be the epic show, HOLY SHIT!!!
Tonight was hands down my best show ever! The energy was like nothing I have ever experancied. It's 3 in the morning and I'm in the cab with my very good friend Joni. I'm am so very happy for her. She had a bad car crash in maui while out there to see Ed. She was in the hospital for 4 days.
Tonight Ed called her up and she got to see the show from the side of the stage. This ment everything to her! So for me that just made tonight extra special.
Thanks again 10 club for 6th row center. I can't even wit for tomorrow night! I do believe we are making some history this week!
OK, Tuesdays show was a great start, Wednesday was even better, and tonight was the highlight so far, and tomorrow should prove to be the greatest Pearl Jam ever played... Finally seeing Tremor Christ live was my personal favorite, BUT the best part of the night was this... If you've ever wondered what Boom does when he's not on stage, well the wondering is over! - He's smoking MAD WEED on the side of the stage... and from the smell of it, it was some bomb ass herb. That dudes cool level just doubled in my book! AND, i actually managed to get one of Eddie's picks as a souvenir. so all in all, tonight was amazing, thanks Pearl Jam and The Spectrum for a great week, this will no doubt go down as one of the best weeks i've ever had. and Happy Halloween all!
Was at every Philly show so far and this one was RIDICULOUS!!!!! Crowd was great in sec 214 except the young couple right in front of me who sat the whole show. How you could sit through that is beyond me. Awesome setlist that i still can't comprehend. Deep and Breath were two songs I've been chasing and was sooo stoked to get! Met some cool guys from Long Island in 214 row 16 and 17. You guys rock! Now to bed to do it all over!
I know alot of people were down on people sitting down this week and I think I defended them earlier in the week. i mentioned age and injuries and other illnesses but tonight I can't defend those people that were sitting down anymore. Deep, Breath, Sonic Reducer, there was an electicity in the air. It was also awesome to hear Gonna See My Friend. I'm an old school type guy and all but I love hearing the new stuff which is why I really liked the first two nights. And it was good that they played more new stuff the first two nights because I don't think many people dig it and I know the Friday crowd had more old school.
I usually never say I wanna hear the new stuff from a band that's been around for almost twenty years. Eddie said it many years ago about Neil Young, that he was one of the only old guys still making good music. I think Backspacer is a beautiful record and so was Avacado. I was too young to go to Springsteen's shows before Born In the USA, but went to the 1999 classics tour, and then last week when he did Born To Run and Born in The USA and refuse to see any Working on A Dream or Magic bullshit.
Like I said before I have a bad back and had the flu earlier this week but once the lights go down and the boys hit the stage I am magically cured and feel 110% better and jump and dance and sing to every song until the band says they're done. Ahh, the healing power of Pearl Jam. I love this fucking band!
I'm stoked for all you guys that are getting to experience these insane concerts and I'm hangin to see them in OZ on the 17th of Nov.I may not be there experiencing it with all you fellow PJ fans but reading the setlists and all your comments make me feel like the Pearl Jam energy is as strong as ever. I feel like we are the luckiest group of individuals being fans of a band that gives us so much more than we could ever give in return.
They had Brother on the setlist!? I wish I hadn't seen that. That was the one song that would have made tonight, undoubtedly the greatest thing since sliced bread. As it was, it was undoubtedly the greatest Pearl Jam show I have ever seen, but Brother would have probably put it up and over anything else I have EVER seen.
THANK YOU EDDIE ABOUT WHAT YOU DID WITH JONI.....SHE DESERVE IT

You and me too! I'm hanging, just hanging to see my all time favourite band 4 times in 2 weeks from now (can't believe it's only 2 weeks away now!). This setlist was insane, with some of my favourites being played - how can you top Tremor Christ, Deep, In Hiding, RVM, In my Tree and Present Tense for starters, not to mention all the others. I'm green with envy that I wasnt there, but great that the guys are in such good form. Hope they keep it up for the Aussie tour. I will NEVER sit down to PJ, I simply cant! It amazes me that people do. I mean how can you sit down to that? I've been listening to Backspacer a lot over the past few days, Lost Dogs as well. Roll on November!
I thought it was funny when Ed tried to call Ben Harper to wish him a happy 40th birthday.
He even had us practice saying "Happy Birthday Ben" on the count of three, then spent a solik 3 minutes or so trying to get signal or something and ended up saying he thought he broke his phone and tossed it to a roadie.
