    Actually, I am appreciating the quiet to be honest, I get to listen to the music I want and I don't have a certain co-worker annoying me to no end, so I take back what I said....this is nice and I am being overly productive (disregard the fact that I am posting on the board ;) ) :D

    The different state, the fact that it's the first weekend of school (my mom wants me to get accustomed to my new apartment and then find a job ASAP), the money, the fact that my lodging would be camping, amongst other things. I'm trying to see it from her perspective and I understand a little but really- I am an adult and this is a once in a lifetime thing! She has no concept of what it means.
