I'm seeing more and more social media posts to forget the prayers and thoughts and do action. After so many tragedies people are losing patience with showing indirect grief, but we still need that opportunity. It's sad and it's horrible, and the victims' friends and families are hurting. It's not wrong to be empathic. No matter if, when or how quickly strangers respond, the process of grieving will always exist.

Well it's predicted the world would get worse and I have faith in it

Meanwhile this month my dad had a tumour or kidney removed and my daughter had a cyst removed from her ovaries we get defined results next week or so but this is too much in one month and I turn 40 this month but I'm glad the ops were one week apart so stress wasn't prolonged
My daughter recovered fine but my dad is in pain bc they had to cut him open so no keyhole surgery bc they didn't want the cancer to spread so he's got a humongous cut poor dad he's on morpheme but forgets to press the realease for it bc he's exhausted
I'm not liking this month much and that's what's on my mind

So so thrilled that my favourite badminton players finally got picked for the Olympics. One of the pair collapsed with a brain aneurysm during the European Champs in February and has made an amazing comeback when we weren't sure he'd ever be able to play or even function normally again! The decision re the Olympics was delayed and delayed, so I'm just so happy that it's finally been made and they'll get to play one last Olympics

Was dreaming and needed to go toilet but looked down the corridor to the back of the house and it was dark and I was too scared to use it then I got a lovely makeup kit for my daughter from me and realised there was a few toilets to the front of the house for me to choose to go pee as I was in the foyer and daughter got my makeup and is with me

Interesting how blowhards are, actually, the antithesis of the term itself.

They suck, ever so softly and ineffectually.

First day back to work after bonnaroo....
I am missing the farm, the people, the music, the 95+ temperatures, the conversations, the food, the walking, the excitement, the cool nights, the crowded fields, the laying on a blanket in a field listening to music, the hanging out at camp having conversations with everyone that walks by....
I want to do that every weekend..

My 80 yr old mom fell and broke her wrist yesterday. After 5 hours of getting all the medical stuff out of the way, making her dinner and situating her at home I called a few hours later to see how she was. She was pissed! I'm going to miss ALL MY GOLF this summer she yelled. Maybe after a few weeks I can try hitting some balls....hahaha...
    Go mom!

I can't believe how gun nuts keep rationalizing their opinions on semi-automatic weapons in the hands of citizens.
