I'm not sure I answered what was asked during an interview. This is the second time in a week that I felt that. I started the answer ok, but then I didn't continue answering what was asked.

I wish I could write the questions down, but that isn't an option. I have to figure this out.

The hijab, just thinking I'd really like to speak to someone who wears one and get a better understanding of their reasons for wearing it. The only Muslim I know is a Bosnian who doesn't observe that particular tradition

I have known many, many girls/women who wear the hijab in my schools and private teaching. It is a case of modesty and respect for their religion but I've also known many who have chosen to stop wearing it whilst still being true to their faith. It is a kind of cop out to say they have to wear it for that reason. These women who choose not to wear it any longer are much more independent and opinionated, so yes the ones who continue to wear it are kind of oppressed. I've often asked these young women how long they think they will continue to wear it as it really doesn't fit into modern life and in certain society. A lot of countries these people have immigrate to just are too liberal in their thinking/dress codes etc for them to ever accepted if they wear it. Some say their families will accept over time if they don't wear it unfortunately with the recent ISIS issues I think there has been a renewed push to now wear it.

I don't know anybody on here by their first name except Rob, and just saying that name could get a thread locked. Life is weird.

I just did a minute of research. A california based company-but they make a separate W-D 40 product that is allowed to be used in California.

    California has weird laws...
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

It's sunny and beautiful out, and I want to frolic in the sun and play my time away. Unfortunately, I have adult responsibilities which include looking for a job. . . after that onward to frolicking!

Just got a phone interview for tomorrow. Research, research, practice. . . and then frolic.

Here too! Well, my guy's doing it - he's much more into scouring for great seats and stuff than I am, thankfully so.

Hopefully we'll be seeing AIC come October :)

AIC is on deck here for July.

DD is the concert planner for our group. No muss. No fuss. Just give a yes or no and tickets are magically obtained.

My mom will be 85 or 86 later this year, and so I've found myself saving her voicemails yet growing increasingly irritated with some of them ("take care of your back - remember to sit up straight and read the email I sent you about how important it is"..."I haven't heard from you for so long, I'm worried about you - let me know you're OK" (we had spoken two days prior).

Can't live with 'em...yada yada

    Young men too.

Just good role models all around. It is so needed.
