    missing my dad right now. today he would have been 53. i wish he was here to see how strong of a person i am. how far in life i have come. how great of a parent i am. and to help me get through the hard and scary times of surgeries and cancer. to tell me that it's going to be ok when i get my heart broken. to be there to just listen to me. and to offer me countless words of wisdom.
    who knew the longer that they are gone, the harder it seems to get.
