    Seriously?

    LOL.

A leak is not the person who is dowloading's fault.

That has to be the most moronic statement about downloading music illegally I have ever seen.

    No.
    Not if it's available.

The person WHO MADE IT AVAILABLE should be held responsible.

Well that's because you're choosing to view it as a black or white situation.

What if I have bought the CD through 10C and will also buy the vinyl version. Then I'll also pay 2 bucks for track through the Rock Band store. Does that also make me a dirt bag if I download a leaked version?

In a word. Yes. If they wanted you to have it now, you would have it now. This selfish entitlement attitude is ridiculous. Not to mention most music and everything else these days uses bittorrent. The minute you have downloaded enough you are then seeding to the next person and so on and so on. How do you know if those people "pre-ordered". You don't and you end up contributing to the distribution. Grow up and wait for the release. If you can't afford $10 for an album you have bigger problems you should be dealing with.

Agree to disagree. This is like saying torrent sites are responsible for the fact that I steal music, and should be held accountable. Your free will is always around, even when you're given a choice to do wrong. Who's at fault? Both the uploader of the illegal content, and those of us who choose to download said content.

That's funny considering you've managed to call someone 'moronic' and a 'dirt bag' all in the same thread. Hello kettle, I'm pot.

 I did say I was purchasing the album at least three times so don't know where your $10 comment comes from. You do have a point on the bittorrent seeding though.....

At the end of the day, you will have those who will download AND pay, and those who will just download. The date it leaks doesn't make a blind bit of difference because it will be available for free when the album gets released anyway. Your views are as antiquated as the music industry's.

+1. SolarWorld - people have called you out on this before, I believe.. putting people down with juvenile words like 'dirt bag' do nothing but detract from your credibility around here, as well as take away people's respect for you. There are much better ways to get a point across.

    1. People who steal music ---> Dirt Bags
    2. People who defend stealing music ---> Morons
