Obviously , that I am able to scan this , this is the only ticket that i used from a non 10C / Fanclub ( Comcast Tix . com ) vantage point.
Oh i used my australia sticker to cover the barcodes for any evildoers out there.
Cool out on the ribbing for rear view-
i just wanted to be in the house originally when this was the final show for those few weeks.
I figured rear view isnt bad for 1 out of 4 shows, unless 10C puts me back there for any of my shows.
Again either way , I am just glad to be attending.
I'm assuming the tenclub holds the same kind of tickets , ( assuming they are printed similiarly ) but thats speculation.

Is this likely going to just turn out to be Ben Harper and his band ,
or maybe The Finn Guy,
or Gomez ?
Or will there be some sort of announcement on this ? has it happened already ?
Are Hall and Oates available ?
what other philly based artists could be happening ?
What is this special guest they type of on the ticketface ?
For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive

I know most PJ fans wouldn't be into it...but I'd love to see the Roots open up. They are an amazing live act. Their performance at Bonnaroo 07 was one of the best shows I've ever been to. I know they've opened for DMB in Philly before.

They were HORRIBLE when they opened for DMB. Though I also regret seeing Dave, but it was at the Vet, I was 16, and all the Roots did was amplify feedback into their amps. It was misery. They're good, but not that time at least. I wanna see the FUCKING DEAD MILKMEN!! .....Or MMJ again.

I second the Hall and Oates request, has Eddie ever covered Hall and Oates, maybe an acoustic Sarah Smile?

I think the Roots are a little busy being the house band for Jimmy Fallon each night- great live band though

    them crooked vultures........ hello
They were good in Chicago - just had everything up way too loud that at many points it drowned out the vocals. It would probably sound awesome though in a stadium setting.

Hall and Oates is playing the Spectrum before Pearl Jam on the 23rd.. so could be a possibility.

  • Does anyone know if the Tor. or Chi tickets or any of the tour date physical tix also say special guest? Or they printed the actual opening act?

They didn't announce the openers for Tor and Chi till way after tix went on sale.

I'd rather see Them Crooked Vultures in a smaller venue since they probably won't do two stops in Philly on the upcoming tour so I hope it's not them unless they're also planning a stop at the Electric Factory.

  • Aren't all opening bands referred to as special guests before the slots are filled? I don't think it's anything to read into. I really don't think even Pearl Jam knows who the openers are yet.

reading too much into that print on your ticket.

my neil young ticket from last december says the same thing, and the opening band (wilco) was known before the on sale.

it doesn't mean its gonna be some super star, it just means it not an evening with pearl jam.
