    Go ahead.
    Don't play down here.
I'll give my concert money to the bands that make it to Florida.
    Plenty come down.
    Go ahead. Stay away.
    Who the hell cares?!
Just don't even bother to play here!

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

Ironically enough, the pacific NW! We're moving once my wife is done w/ grad school next summer.

That is our plan as well, but wife's grad school won't be completed for about 2 more years.

Portland ranks high on the relocation index, for us.

This whole thread makes me wonder if anyone has ever relocated their lives to be closer to PJ shows.

It would be a major step beyond requesting they play nearer to you.

Looks like the PJ20 news will be handed down from Mount Olympus pretty soon. I can't wait for people's minds to be blown when 10C tells us all the shows are at Talladega Motor Speedway, Big Cypress Seminole Reservation, or Zilker Park. ;)

PJ20 in the South: You know you want some banana puddin'.

    drools at the thought....

    re: Zilker Park

PJ played the Gorge w/ reeeeediculous heat index and temps in late summer.

Who's to say Texas would be any worse?

Atleast if you played Zilker Park people wouldn't have to camp in the heat. Plenty of hotels to allow for escape.... and so many awesome places for some refreshment ;)

It's still 2 years away & plans could change. But, yeah, it would be a little closer to some of the ~25 North American cities Pearl Jam still plays.

We're picking our next home based on a few factors:

    1) pro baseball or proximity to MLB city
    2) good international airport
    3) healthy arts scene
    4) access to outdoor activities

And, if PJ plays nearby, that will just be a bonus. It's not like they can play any less frequently than what we get down here in sunny FLA.

You could move to Texas.... that would be worse...

What the fuck was I thinking when I moved here? oh yea... right... I needed a job and here pays better than most any other area in the world for my profession.... jeez... guess I should have thought about PJ before my livlihood... we all know they don't have the green disease and that they punish those of us that do...
