This thread makes me so sad. There is fear bred into us about "socialism" and it is ridiculous. The government already runs health care in many forms (VA, medicare, medicaid) yet people act as if government run health care would be a 180 degree turn.
I would be interested to hear from someone that works in the health care field about all of this. I will be a doctor in a few years and while I know Obama's plan will severely reduce my compensation, I am still very much in support of his plan. Health care is a right... not a privilege.
