    The NBA schedule comes out this afternoon. Even though the Sixers no longer play at the Spectrum I believe that this announcement will come shortly after the schedule release (this is pure speculation on my part). I'd be willing to bet money that the sixers are on the road on 10/31.

    And as I mentioned here before, some friends and I already have our box locked up for 10/31. This show is gonna happen.

    I don't think those people are fucking with us at all. I think they are waiting on confirmation from the Pearl Jam camp. Sounds like Comcast is ready, willing and able to make this show happen and they are waiting on word from the band...much like we are.

    Hey genius the Wachovia Ticket Sales department is located in the Wachovia Center not the Spectrum. Their jobs are secure.

    It sucks that both of those guys were shut out. I don't know BOSTONLOU personally but I've spoken to Jose a few times and it is too bad that they both got shut out. But it is not like either of them are local Philly people ... so why single them out? A LOT of people got shut out of Philly tickets - some local and some not local, some with very low numbers and some with high numbers. I don't get why you singled them out ... just sayin' :)

    As for the posters ~ you have to understand WHY they limited the pre-sales to those who bought tickets, right? I would offer to buy you one for each show except that I've already done so for someone in a similar situation as you. I am sure that you can find someone around here to hook you up. There are lots of great people around here...

    I got shut out of both Philly shows too, and I'm a local

    but my friend (thank GOD) from Seattle got fan club tix for both Philly shows so I'm in like flint :lol:

    Lou got shut out? that sucks....i texted him the day the Philly shows were announced and he said he was going to try for tix but that his wife is prego and this tour was not good for him....but if Lou is intent on going he will be there with or without 10c tix...just like Ed in Albany.

    But the 76ers are across the street from the Spectrum on 10/30 so the parking lot area will be busier than a usual concert night.

    It's the home opener against Milwaukee. It won't be a huge crowd but decent sized as it is the opener.

    The Phillies played at home the night of Green Day at the Spectrum, and parking/traffic was no big deal.

    You figure, it's still fewer cars than even a single Eagles game.
