wait kenny said it wasn't happening??
take that to the bank....that guy knows his shit!!
(thought i'd chime in here...don't really care if there is a halloween show but the thread has been fun to read)0 -
The NBA schedule comes out this afternoon. Even though the Sixers no longer play at the Spectrum I believe that this announcement will come shortly after the schedule release (this is pure speculation on my part). I'd be willing to bet money that the sixers are on the road on 10/31.
And as I mentioned here before, some friends and I already have our box locked up for 10/31. This show is gonna happen.0 -

EchosNobodyHears wrote:I called the Spectrum today assuming there was a concert and asked when tickets were on sale. The operator said she didnt have information about when they were on sale but sounded as though there was a show. When I asked her to confirm the show she made it seem very probable. I also called the premium seating and they were ready to take my reservation for the 31st but said the show was not official yet. It seems the show is still on the table and in the process of being confirmed but nothings for sure.
i think everyone who works there is simply enjoying fucking with us  ...whether suggesting the show is on, or suggesting the show isn't on. as speedy rightly pointed out, soon enough all these people will be out of work, so yea...probably having one last laugh at our expense!Stay with me...

I don't think those people are fucking with us at all. I think they are waiting on confirmation from the Pearl Jam camp. Sounds like Comcast is ready, willing and able to make this show happen and they are waiting on word from the band...much like we are.0

I agree. I think they are waiting on word from pj.Turn this anger into

Hey genius the Wachovia Ticket Sales department is located in the Wachovia Center not the Spectrum. Their jobs are secure.0 -

Well I did say I would never do Philly and that's still true.lol
I dont have 10club tickets for Chicago.....so I dont get the poster pre-sale....
BOSTONLOU got shut out of Philly tickets.....
Josevolution....who has a 10club number of xxxx3......got shut out of Philly tickets......
As for the posters ~ you have to understand WHY they limited the pre-sales to those who bought tickets, right? I would offer to buy you one for each show except that I've already done so for someone in a similar situation as you. I am sure that you can find someone around here to hook you up. There are lots of great people around here...
Because they are both friends of mine...
Who both live on the east coast....
And its a damn fucking shame they didnt get tickets.....
its just wrong.....
that is all....
And yes....I understand why they limited the pre-sales for the posters....Post edited by SPEEDY MCCREADY onTake me piece by piece.....

I got shut out of both Philly shows too, and I'm a local
but my friend (thank GOD) from Seattle got fan club tix for both Philly shows so I'm in like flint
it's a crapshoot
a GDMF crapshootDon't come closer or I'll have to go0 -
Lou got shut out? that sucks....i texted him the day the Philly shows were announced and he said he was going to try for tix but that his wife is prego and this tour was not good for him....but if Lou is intent on going he will be there with or without 10c tix...just like Ed in Albany.0

NBA Schedule is out.
76ers at MSG on Halloween.
But the 76ers are across the street from the Spectrum on 10/30 so the parking lot area will be busier than a usual concert night.- Busted down the pretext

The Phillies played at home the night of Green Day at the Spectrum, and parking/traffic was no big deal.
You figure, it's still fewer cars than even a single Eagles game."They said ... timing was everything
made him ... want to be everywhere
there's a ... lot to be said for nowhere."0 -

I stuck by this mantra... only traveling for one show this year and so far only tickets to Philly 1.... gotta set priorities at some point hahahahaThis is your notice that there is a problem with your signature. Please remove it.

Social awareness does not equal political activism!
5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.0 -
dont we already know the flyers are playing at home on 10/31 at 1 pm? Why do we care if the 76ers were home on 10/31 or not? I am not following0
