    Clarkey coming of age.
Freddy in doubt, shame, he is great to watch, he is the heart, the barometer of the English squad.
Watson the key if his body holds up and he continues his form with the bat and gets some wickets.
    Go Aussies!

I'd keep he same side. Hauritz has bowled well, but really he is our weakest link. A few blokes can bowl spin, Clarke, Katitch and North, 3 of them can do the job. Keep the same side. But If the pitch really is spinning, I would.... Fly over Krezja or myself, (Former B grade off spinner)

i agree, keep the spin out and go after them with pace, they are weak as piss and nervous right now - they have to win.
shit mate, we could get warnie out of the tv commentary job and let him bowl a few

See on AFL footy show last week he said that if $1m was raised for his charity and Aust needed him then he would consider it. But that was just B.S

The other thing in todays paper Stuart Law put his hand up for selection for ENGLAND  You wouldnt want him playing for England after he had previously represented Aust

I can't believe they are thinking of dropping Clark.
    What morons.
Keep the line up unchanged, perhaps Hughes in for Hussey?
Use Clarke, North, Katich as spinners.
    Simple!

agree, we wont need a spinner with that pace attack..

is clark in or is it a game time decision?
  • Dropping Clark sounds like a great idea to me. You can drop all the other players we can't bowl out, too, if you like - just to give us a sporting chance.

I'm normally an optimistic Brit but I'm struggling to see us winning this game with bad weather forecast for the whole 5 days.

Probably the first test ever that I wouldn't mind the rain to fall.

Having said that, of course I want Aust to win, but rain is not going to concern us.

  • I'll keep the Brits end up here. We're 50 miles away from the Oval and we've got beautiful blue skies. Katich and North is a key partnership now, if we break that cheaply we've got a chance....

It pains me to say this, but Katich gone, I think we are kissing the Ashes goodbye. :( :( :(

I haven't felt this low since we lost in 05 and the Swans lost the 06 grandfinal.

Australia 109-6 (Swann W-0-0-0-0-0): WICKET! SWANN STRIKES AGAIN AND KATICH IS THE MAN TO TRUDGE AWAY! England celebrate in sheer jubilation as the sixth wicket falls, and Australia are in dire trouble here at The Oval! Katich falls for exactly 50, and into the middle walks Mitchell Johnson. Swann is turning the ball miles out there and it is smiles all round! Australia have just lost 36 for 6 in, oh, about 90 minutes!

    I hate cricket!
