Sweet....and right on time!! I just bought an RSD copy that should arrive any day now. Guess I'll have the cooler package and if the black sounds better I'll snag one down the road.
I'm guessing this will be TMR's easiest fulfillment since the very beginning. I know a lot of people who passed on this one. A very lazy Vault in my opinion. And not because it's not a Jack pack. It's the fact that they already released a special edition of this record a few years back and despite how amazing Lynn is, it's an acquired taste that I don't think many of the Vault fans have.
I'm looking forward to the next announcement at the start of July and (hopefully) renewing my subscription.
Question that may be a bit stupid here- I don't have much White Stripes on vinyl but have started collecting them recently. Is the original Icky Thump LP that's still available pretty good quality? Should I buy this one now, or am I better off waiting if they also re-issue that one like they have been for the others?
No time to be void or save up on life, you gotta spend it all.

Believe me, my order was a mistake. But, I ordered it...I'll give it a listen

As far as I know the one currently available via retail is a repress, possibly a third run. DON'T quote me on this. I'm sure someone here can answer this better.
Anyways the version currently available sounds great. Buy it.

I have a vinyl rip and the bass is very, very high. Is that how the vinyl truly is?

Is there a financing option available for this particular version.
Dammit!! Cracked open my GBMS to enjoy the morning and it's missing record 1. What a bummer. First time something like this has happened and its one of my favorite albums. Dealing with the seller on discogs for a return/refund, but does anybody have any idea who to contact at Thirdman as a last ditch effort before sending it back?

Yeah, I had this one....was in the Vault since day one, but lost it to my ex-wife in the divorce true story.

Got an update on the GBMS snafu....T-bones Records issued a full refund and told me to keep the vinyl and sleeve. Sucks, but the July standard release helps and great service. Look them up next time you're shopping around the discogs marketplace.

Dang, sorry to hear about the missing record and glad to hear an unfortunate situation ended well.
I have mine auto renew before I find out. So whatever it is... i'm happy.
That's what I was doing until this Loretta Lynn debacle, haha. I cancelled mine until they announce what it is for the first time.
My OCD would not allow me to miss a vault.
Ditto the collector OCD I'm on permanent auto-renew as well . Excited to see what the next release is.
Don't they typically announce it much earlier in the Vault quarter? The Loretta Lynn subscription period ended on 4/30, so if my math's right then the next order period will only be open for roughly a month at most before the new subscription window closes. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

They usually announce it with about a month to sign up and order, or the last month of the quarter. So you are looking at the first week of July. I was hoping end of this week, But with the 4th coming up, might be early next week.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
