In the email I got from Third Man announcing the RSD release it seems like they were foreshadowing the reissue of the rest of the White Stripes catalog for later this year.

I'm so ready for GBMS. Got the rest of the stuff I'm interested in from them and it's about the biggest glaring hole in my entire collection. Hell I considered buying the super rare pressing he has/had in stock at the store in Nashville.

I didn't receive an email like that. I saw a tweet about.

I received nothing like that either. Dewie, post what you got.......I didn't see any foreshadowing about future reissues......

Maybe it was a tweet or just the standard press release, but it mentioned a standard black edition of Elephant to be released later this year. When they did the last batch of reissues it was announced the the at 2nd part would be done at some point. Nothing direct, but I'm assuming that if they've started up with the remastering of that batch we'll be getting the rest around the same time as the Elephant reissue.

    Got mine today!

Also, for those of you in Maine/NH area and use BullMoose Music. They posted on facebook a few minutes ago about how you could order/try to reserve up to two titles to pick up on RSD. Obviously not guaranteed, but I just placed one for Elephant and Mad Season. Worth a shot right?

Received my vault package in NJ yesterday

Nice looking vinyl as always. Didn't have a chance to listen to the Bricks album, but spun the demos.

The DVD looks like it will be pretty good too

Just spun mine. Pretty cool 7" to hear the different versions. The audio on the 12" is so-so but that's to be expected since it was recorded in a bowling alley 14 years ago

Haven't watched the DVD yet but overall it's a solid addition to the collection. Interesting to hear how they all sounded back in the day. The best is after the first song you hear like one person go "Woo!" and that's pretty much it, ha.

my new vault lp is warped as shit. it plays, but I got a bit worried when it began with what seemed like a commercial and then morphed into Dead Leaves. But I see on the liner notes that this what is supposed to happen.

I was having a pretty crappy Friday. Then I got home and greeting me was my Vault package, Ten Club Single and the Thirdman 7" Brittany Howrd and Ruby Amanfu single. All this turned my day around big time. Now a halt on buying anything until RSD.

The 12" white LP is warped pretty bad. It plays, but did skip twice due to the severity of the warp. I might have to contact the Thirdman customer service people.

My Bricks album also has a slight warp to it but plays fine, so it doesn't bother me too much. A few Vaults ago, I had my albums get warped really bad from sitting in the sun in front of my house all day while I was at work. I contacted customer service at Thirdman and they hooked me up with replacements at no charge to me for anything. All I had to do was send some pics of the damaged vinyls and within a few days, I had new ones. Can't beat Thirdman's customer service.

the dvd is kinda shitty. it's like home movies with a smattering of some live songs. half of them barely audible due to the crappiness of that other band. but the White Stripes stuff is cool.

I'm not trying to sound like a guy complaining about his diamond shoes being too tight, but I think there might be a reason most bands don't release stuff like this. The sound is so poor it's barely listenable. The last vault with Jack White at TMR was terrible sounding, and I'm no audiophile. Not one bit. I usually like something even if it sounds like it's from cassette, but man, why put something on vinyl if it sounds like this? Dead Weather live at TMR sounded awesome. And the dvd that came with it was incredible. What's the sound like on the WS live in Mississippi vinyl?

Mississippi and Live in London are the absolute best. I'd put Mississippi as #1 of all the Vaults I have heard. The rest are hit or miss.
