Yeah, it wasn't the TMR Vault. It was literally the most disappointing "parcel" I've ever received. It was literally an empty box, lol. My cable/internet provider is coming on Friday to upgrade by router, so, unbelievably, they sent me an empty box with a return shipping label in it, so that I can send my old router back to them... even though their employee will be in my home tomorrow. Why isn't that person just replacing my router and leaving with the old one rather than shipping empty boxes to people? Does Telus have a massive surplus, so they're finding new ways to waste money?
My guess... they can hold you financially responsible for not returning the router to whatever central office, and it's harder/more painful for their techs. Just offloading responsibility. And yeah, that's super disappointing.
Well, I guess I feel bad for the guy who comes with my new router then, because I'm going to fucking insist that he take it, lol. I'm not schlepping a package to the post office for Telus. They already bleed me dry on a monthly basis.

I’ll be trying from work when they send me the code I can get it to you ..
Has anyone gotten codes for brooklyn yet? I live in NJ so I'm not sure if I qualify for their NYC vicinity. If others got codes already I'll know that I don't

Please, say it aint so. I was really looking forward to new music from Jack, but I had a bad feeling that the above comments would be my reaction too. Haven’t heard it yet, but now I’m nervous.
I've listened to it four times now between two record store listening parties and hearing twice through at TIDAL's event the other night. It's different. A little weird. There are a couple songs I like and I'm looking forward to seeing how the new material comes across live this week.
Ok so you guys tell me next Friday in Brooklyn is not worth it lol
Of course it's going to be worth it! Jack White, and there are pierogi's at the venue!

so would you guys consider a song like blunderbuss to be country or blue grass?
No, not at all, and I wouldn't call it Americana either, unless you just call any song by an American that. However, I definitely think that song sounds like it was influenced by modern bluegrass, what with the strings in the background, but only loosely (FWIW, modern bluegrass doesn't have to include banjos and picking and shit, IMHO). At the end of the day, I often struggle with trying to slot songs into specific genres. Do I really feel a need to apply a genre to Jack's solo work? No, I don't, although really only because I don't think there is an existing genre that aptly describes it. Maybe I'll just call it the Jack White genre.
