    i don't know why my husband thinks it is a mandolin when he has seen ed playing the uke at other concerts. but we were not at benaroya.

    hey fellow Unplugged-campaigners....
    i'm sorry if i'm not around too much....
    the cause is breakdown and the effect is me practically up to nothing at all just lying in bed feeling sick being on prescription drugs and sleeping pills and a diet and nobody calling me to wish me well.
    my friends are assholes. this afternoon i played yield on maximum volume (my folks were gone) to make myself feel better.
    now i'm going to have yet another cigarette because i'd rather have a smokey head than a depressed one. then i'm going to take one of my dearly beloved sleeping pills and go to bed.

    i think people are scared. this always happens when you get sick. first you have all the friends in the world and then you're not doing so well and *flash* they're gone :(

    you know what would really make me feel better right now?
    an official DVD of Pearl Jam MTV Unplugged! yes. because i'm sick of the crappy sound quality and f***ing time-bars on the bottom of my shitty copied DVD :mad: (which i even had to pay for since i don't have a DVD-burner!!!)
