The republican establishment recognizes that our democracy demands accountability and as more and more facts come to light via the processes in progress, it will become untenable for the republicans and many of those who held their noses and voted for Trump to remain silent. I have a few academic Indian friends here in Canada that are pretty distraught about this murder. Vowing to never travel to the US.
Are we back to this "owning it" nonsense? I'm pretty sure you all surrenderend on that point back during the campaign when GOP campaign offices were being attacked. We went through that whole exercise just to demonstrate how silly the "owning it" charge is. Either way...right now it is Trump who appointented an Indian American to be his ambassador to the UN and it is also an Indian American who is fielding a candidacy against Elizabeth Warren.
