That's been there a little while, it could be possible. But it's most likely global citizens festival

An Eddie solo tour in the fall wouldn't necessary be ruled out by a full band appearance at Global Citizen.

On the image, the letter "S" in "SPECIAL" is silver.

The "Silver Anniversary" is 25th year.

October 22, 1990 was the first Pearl Jam show.

October 22, 2015 is open on MSG's calendar (Billy Joel on the 21st, Blur on the 23rd)

    Just some thoughts.

Silver is the color of the "S" train logo. Don't read into it.

It wouldn't make much sense to celebrate your 20 year anniversary in 2011 and then your 25 year anniversary in 2015.

Last year Global Citizen was announced on 7/9 (I looked it up) so assume it will coincide perfectly with the 10th newsletter.

And there's no reason to speculate. It's not Eddie because the tweet says Pearl Jam. And it's not anything except Global Citizen because this has long been coming.

While I'm happy my longest no show streak will come to and end I hate that it's this. Only glad I don't have to travel.

I have a wedding on the night of Global Citizens :bawling:

I've paid for 17 PJ shows and I'm missing one miles away from my house- not happy about that. I've seen them every year from 2008 and it would have been nice to keep my streak going.

Now they'll play my white whales and I'll really be pissed haha

How about some shows at Not Shea in October? Not like the Mets will have playoff games and plus the team can use the revenue to get some good players.

I have a wedding the night BEFORE! I was sorta complaining that "who has a wedding on a Friday?" but now I couldn't be happier about it. Sorry to hear you're not as lucky as me on that front but hey, if the show is that close, maybe you guys can make it by like 10pm or so. I mean, it's not YOUR wedding. You don't have to be there from start to finish right? Or start saying you have stomach pains around 6:30 and by 8:30 say you have to "go home".

Nice. I don't get overly excited about festivals, which I assume this will be, for Global Citizen, but still (besides, maybe it IS something amazing like a Central Park or MSG show too, you never know).... Plus, I am just naturally jealous of everyone who lives in or near NYC - a PJ show just makes it way worse. You lucky fuckers. ;)

Not sure its happened every year but at least a couple years the concert has been showed live on TV.
