  I live in Charleston.  Depending on what you’re looking for, if you want downtown try around King Street or Meeting Street as close to Calhoun as possible.  

  
  

  If the beach is what you’re after check the Isle of Palms or Sullivans Island.  I live on James Island ten minutes from Folly Beach.  Can always AirBnB down there
