No Code / Yield Box Set

skinnyportageeskinnyportagee Texas Posts: 145
The conspiracy theorist in me is popping out but given Moline's and tonight's set list I wonder if they're going to announce the No Code and Yield vinyl rerelease.

Today the store dropped the LB vinyl and readied it about 15 minutes later. In the past when there's been adjustments to the vinyl section in the store they've released something new on vinyl.

I'm probably reading too much into it but my fingers are crossed.

not genius, they have enough in the vault that i hope reissues of those two albums don't come with live material from 2014.

I had the exact same thought, maybe the unofficial Black Friday Record store Day release this year is a No Code/Yield box in time for Christmas?!?

There is no way they did this by accident. Seems clearly it is related to upcoming and expected reissues of yield and no code... it could just be hype for us die hards and free press but i assume they will get used somehow... probably old vault shows for wax LP's and the new shows for dvd/Blu ray... which is awesome

I think that a cool idea would be to include audio of both of these recent concerts - or at least the sections of the shows were each album was played front to back - as part of the set either as a bonus CD or as a DVD!

That would be awesome. It would make the set feel complete in a way. Obviously, I would like a set of everything eventually but for some reason I feel like if they stopped after these next two for a really long time, it would still feel complete because it's a clear button on this particular period.

the box cant come soon enough, surely the playing of these two magnificent albums in their entirety was not a coincidence?

The cynic in me says it has to be because of an impending No Code/Yield reissue. Has to be!

Really hope so. Either a box set, or standard reissues on vinyl. Hell, maybe they'll throw Binaural in there too.
